What mods can u add to ktm 525 to get more power and faster

Thank you! Torque on the 570 is ridiculous, it pulls like my 450 EFI dirt bike did. Stock length on the swing arm, all custom work was for strength. I managed to check out Leota at the end of last season & it was a blast, I highly recommend if you haven't been. I plan on making more videos soon now that riding season is upon us, including a trip out to Silver Lake sand dunes in the coming weeks, so stay tuned! 🙂

Not bad at all, I've only ever made contact when going over logs or super deep ruts left by SXS on multi-use trails. One of my regular riding parks is an old rock quarry & I've never had an issue bottoming out or taking rock strikes. That being said, I also run a Rath skid plate & swingarm/rotor guard made by LS4, which I highly recommend if you're planning on serious XC riding.

Mainly I went 570 because I was looking for big power, I wanted something that’d pull like my EFI YZ450. I’m currently amassing the parts for a 2nd engine build however & will more than likely go 540 for longevity’s sake. I’m running an 806 cam + head work done by Racers Edge AZ, it’s ported with a 5 angle valve job, +1 SS intake valves & stock for exhaust valves. I haven’t had any issues with my clutch lever going limp, did you reverse bleed your system? The hydraulic clutch in these only like to be bled one way. I would check for air in the lines as well, & then also take note to see if you’re losing any clutch fluid over time. I’ve seen cases where the seal is bad & leaking clutch fluid into the case.

Also might be worth replacing the spring and plunger assembly in the clutch lever. I bought my ktm used and it had sat for 10 years. Clutch worked at first but quickly didn’t and no amount of bleeding fixed it. Basically the rubber plunger failed. It’s a very easy replacement

You’re absolutely right, it’s a ton of fun owning the Revo but it comes with a price tag across the board. Surprisingly the only thing I damaged making this video was a cracked center driveshaft, which I’ve since replaced with the steel version from Traxxas along with some other goodies for bashing. All in all, even with the amount of maintenance, I love owning the Revo!
