Did you do anything special on the drivers side where the pipe is between the spare and brake line? Did you zip tie the brake line away from the pipe, cover it or the pipe with heat wrap or anything? Or just left it be. Thanks
Wheres the sound?
Increase mpg??
Not really in town, it seems to better than 24mpg on long highway trips though.
What size exhaust tips are those?
they came with the MBRP kit for the Ranger
lol cheeky deer!
Have you had any issues with your spare tire with the left side of the exhaust being there’s no heat shield?
none that I know of
Figures you have one!, been looking to set on up here or something similar
What I would do is teach my wife or daughters to run out there to crank that thing up. They’re food motivated so the training should be fairly quick.
Especially if you withhold the food for a couple days before you need some work done.
How do the pipes fit around the spare tire? Do you think they would clear with 33s (285/70/17)? Sounds great btw!
They tuck up nice and are completely out of the way.
If this is the same engine as the ecoboost mustang .everyone loved my car with this exhaust with the fullrace downpipe
2.3L Ecoboost is in the Ranger
Michael Nagorski --- Thank you for this video ! This sounds just about perfect for my 2022 Ranger Lariat... It looks great coming out the back, just right to me ! How does this sound on the highway??? Is it still loud, or does it go away ??? I want to be able to drive this new Ranger several thousand miles at a time on trips and do not want something droning in the background and making me tired... If you ever come back to look at this, I hope you can reply to my questions... Thank you !!
It's very tame at the higher RPM levels. It's more noticeable at low speed
@@mikeynags - Thanks for your reply, Michael ! Is there any way we can see underneath how the pipes are laid out??? I really like the sound and look of those duals !! You did great ! If I go look up this part number, will I be able to get a visual of how the pipes underneath are laid out ??? Thanks so much !!!

i have a video just like this. love the color of your ranger.
Thanks - it's called Hot Pepper Red. Ford brought it back to the Ranger for 2022.
I need 3 of those. Nice!
What's this thing going to hold, wind turbine?
HF antennas I would think.
Good jobs
Impact driver on nut . Alot faster

Give Ham Radio Outlet a call. That's where I purchased mine. I know the costs have gone up but they should have the latest on pricing
It looks like you have the MARB-40 rotator base and the MAF-40 raising fixture. Do you have to remove the MAF-40 in order to rotate the mast? it looks like the mast winch could hit the MAF-40.
Yes - I removed mine. I have seen where people remove only the top bolt and "lean" the MAF-40 back and out of the way of the raising winch. It was easy enough to remove and I think looks better with it put away.
@Michael Nagorski excellent work guys. I am installing a tilting winch mast that is made from 60x60x5mm box section steel. i have a ground sleevw piece of box that it slides into measuring 70x70x5mm. the main part with winch is around 5 FT off the ground and will be holding two 20FT aluminium scaffold poles with adsb / ais equipment. i have dug a hole 2 and 1/2ft x 2 and 1/2fT x 3ft deep, should i use rebar for the ground sleeve and should i go deeper? i really need some advice
No content.
Wow that is nice!
Gee my god is that pipe that heavy to swing up and bolt in place come on man.
you should have been there to get it off the truck when it was delivered!
@@mikeynags wow hope you had help. Nice should last a long time.
Is the MARB base moving from the weight when you crank up the Ma 40?
no, it is rock solid attached to the cement foundation
Add a counter weight pulley setup to assist ??
Your ALC was jumping as your SWR was to high and transceiver was protecting the transmitter with turning up ALC, nothing to do with Compressor this time . Lower the power and do it again :)
That's PV8ADI,not OK7Z
Oops! your are right. My notes must have been bad.
Gun shots at 0:24
there is an outdoor shooting range in the area
You don't have it up and transmitting and the neighbors are all ready shooting at you :)
Just curious how deep the base hole was? Be a BIG helo.
3 feet by 3 feet by 5 feet deep.
No bolts for the tower base? Lots of rebar and concrete!
4 bolts went in
4 bolts went in but they are not sticking out of the cement . How can you connect the tower base? That's what I want to know!😎
I'm considering the MA40 unit as well. Very helpful
I'm very happy with it so far. It will be 3 years this spring.
Without a doubt, one of the most useful YT videos about the MA-40. Short, and exactly what I needed to see. Let me also say that Mike was a prince! When I asked to pick his brain for info he called me and let me benefit from his experience. Even gave me a lead to a local P.E. Thanks bunches Mike. 73 de Warren, W1WRM!
NO WAY!! This is so amazing! You go Nick! We love you and are SO proud of you!!
