Kruger Park DAY 12: The Essentials for a Self Drive Safari | Pack up Camp | Bid Farewell to Kruger
We cant believe our 12day Kruger trip has already come to an end. Our last day in the park was yet another great one with a beautiful lion sighting to end it all off.
For our last night we opted to pack up camp and stay in a bungalow rather, that way it was less of a pack up in the morning when we had to head out as the gates open to get on the road back to KZN.
Thank you to everyone who has followed along on our journey through the Kruger, we are so glad you could join us. If you have any questions related to our trip, pop them in the comments section below and we will be sure to include them in our Kruger recap video.
See you all on our next adventure.

Kruger Park DAY 11: Visiting CROCODILE BRIDGE | Bubble & Squeak | Hornbill vs. Snake
มุมมอง 4.8Kปีที่แล้ว
It was a LONG day out in the park. We left as the gate opened and made our way down to Crocodile Bridge, we really wanted to see the area before the end of our trip however I think we underestimated just how far Crocodile Bridge was from Berg-en-Dal. Needless to say, it is most certainly possible to do it in a day but it does require an entires day drive. Luckily the drive provided us with some...
Kruger Park Day 10: LEOPARD sighting | Afsaal Pitstop | The Kruger Wave | Sunset at Berg-en-Dal
มุมมอง 6Kปีที่แล้ว
We had such a fun day exploring the South West of the Kruger Park today. We took various roads off the H3 and made our way up to Afsaal and then slowly made our way back to Berg-en-Dal. We were treated to another great leopard sighting and got to take the time and really enjoy all the smaller game as well. Ending off the day with a stunningly tranquil evening at the dam in Berg-en-Dal was the c...
Kruger Park DAY 9: Unforgettable LION sighting around BERG-EN-DAL | Rhino Perimeter Trail
มุมมอง 12Kปีที่แล้ว
Day 9 will always hold a special place in our memories. The lion sighting we experienced this morning was exhilarating and something we never thought we would see. It was so exciting tracking them as they weaved in and out of sight, they truly are magnificent and powerful creatures. The rest of our day was a relaxed one around Berg-en-Dal camp. The rhino perimeter trail is great and a must do a...

We then head on the road to Berg-En-Dal and see a few things along the way. We make it to Berg-En-Dal and set up camp and take a walk around the fence line and end off another brilliant day in the Kruger Park . If you enjoyed this video, dont forget to like...
Kruger Park DAY 6: Full SKUKUZA Day Outing | Hyena Cubs | Lion Traffic Jam | Elephant Road Block
มุมมอง 6Kปีที่แล้ว
Day 6 consisted of a full day out and about around the Skukuza area. We started off at 6am trying to spot the leopard we saw yesterday. A special hyena sighting, lion traffic jam, stunning brunch stop at Nkuhlu picnic site and an elephant road block were just some of the highlights from today. We couldn't have asked for a better last full day around the Skukuza area. We hope you stick around an...
Kruger Park DAY 5: In & Around SKUKUZA | Tranquil Morning | Leopard Spotting | Little Heroes' Acre
มุมมอง 4.4Kปีที่แล้ว
We had a nice relaxed day exploring in and around Skukuza. We started off with a short morning drive and we were treated to a stunning and tranquil morning in nature. We then headed back to camp to "claim" the rest of our camp site once our neighbours had left and then explored the Skukuza Rest Camp, stopping off at Little Heroes' Acre and Cattle Baron Restaurant for some lunch. We then headed ...
Kruger Park DAY 4: En route to SKUKUZA | Safari Tent Tour | Big Cat Sightings | First Night Camping
มุมมอง 14Kปีที่แล้ว
Today started with packing up the last of our stuff and a quick tour of our Tamboti Luxury Safari Tent. It was then time to hit the road and make our way down to Skukuza for our first night of camping. Along the way we come across some incredible sightings incl. two of the big cats (The third one doesn’t really count on this day). We have a great pitstop at Tshokwane Picnic Site and we finally ...
Kruger Park DAY 3: Day trip to SATARA | Cook with Us | Hippo vs. Fish Eagle
มุมมอง 6Kปีที่แล้ว
Day 3 started off with a rookie error of not setting an alarm the night before so our morning got off to a later start than usual. But we got out onto the road and headed towards Satara. We had some incredible sightings at the Nsemani Dam and later stopped for some breakfast at the N'wanetsi Picnic site, which boasted some incredible views. Although a long day out, we absolutely loved exploring...
Kruger Park DAY 2: EPIC close up wildlife encounters around TAMBOTI
มุมมอง 4.2Kปีที่แล้ว
We spend Day 2 exploring the roads in and around the Tamboti Tented Camp area. We have a breakfast en route at Muzandzeni Picnic Site and then spend a super relaxed afternoon in camp before heading out on an evening game drive. Our highlight of our day had to be the visit from the large spotted genet, it was such a special sighting. You can also catch us on Instagram and TikTok @theroamingbutle...
Kruger Park DAY 1: Racing against the clock to TAMBOTI TENTED CAMP
มุมมอง 11Kปีที่แล้ว
Our first full day in the Kruger Park started off with a 6am game drive around Letaba. We headed back to camp, packed the car, hooked up the trailer and before getting on the road to Tamboti, had to stop off at the Letaba Elephant Hall which is a must see. After exploring the Letaba Rest Camp, it was time to start the almost 140km journey to Tamboti Tented Camp. We stopped off at Olifants looko...

I absolutely love these vlogs ❤ I grew up in South Africa and I was a frequent visitor to the kruger 😊 I moved to Australia 4 years ago and miss the kruger dreadfully! February this year was my first time back in 4 years and i was fortunate enough to be in the Kruger for 2 months travelling from Punda Maria to Berg En Dal (North to South) ❤ Thank you for these videos it really puts a smile on my face and helps me reminisce on such wonderful times I've had in the Kruger! Enjoy 😊

Love the enthusiasm - definitely cat spoor - wild dogs have very straight spoor - vs hyaena which is skeef and they love using the roads - no back pad indentations and their nails show in the print - normally running or trotting - nothing better than tracking and finding predators in the Park - don’t hesitate to double back and also make a note of where you lost the spoor and return towards the end of the day to see if they won’t pop out onto the road after snoozing all day just out of sight

We have spent the last couple of evenings watching your Kruger videos, from the UK. We spent 10 days last November in the Kruger, our first ever trip, fell in love and will be returning this November for three weeks, travelling from the far north to the south of the park. Thank you for the time and effort in putting these videos together and for the memories, we are super excited to be returning.
