Hm so my baby’s leg thumping drove me insane. + He always needed to be held ( but not cuddled, as in, would not melt in our arms ). Hated car seat, stroller, bassinet, swing, bouncer, you name it. Strong neck since birth. So it sounds like two opposite types🤔

I agree, my newborn refuses to sleep in the bassinet because it’s a wooden slab with a super thin foam pad. Amazon packages are probably more comfortable to sleep in. 😉

My baby was born after a long labour, got stuck for about 10-15 minutes during delivery. He’s 8 months old now, has been having reflux since day one but it got better as he grew. He used to love car seat up until 5-6 months old. Since then, even a short car ride is making him super fussy. What can i do to help him enjoy car rides?

What is consider the amount of time I should stop giving it, to a 10 months baby with reflux, without impacting in their natural ability to grow their own gut good bacteria (and it could have a bad effect on natural production)?

Ive had to give up all dairy, eggs, nuts, soya and all allergens until i get appointment for allergist for my baby because he shows symptoms of cows milk protein allergy, so yeah food does affect them. Also he had silent reflux and colic and alls improved so far

Mum had antibiotics and emergency C section. I would say baby has some tummy issues and is generally fussy. Mum recently started breastfeeding so it's now 50/50 with formula and started taking some probiotics (Actimel drinks). I've looked into it but generally no one advises newborns take probiotics (4 weeks old) but I would love to try it

Our baby only sleeps on us or with us. Loves side or tummy sleep, back sleep is rare. She did ok with Moses first few days but no more. Never fell asleep in her cot unless put there while already in deep sleep. Delivery was quite traumatic, emergency C section.

Makes complete sense now. Ours was a water birth, slightly bent backwards on delivery like your second example. He absolutely HATES being on his back but will turn into a shrimp and ball up into our chest instantly to calm down.

My baby does have a strong neck. 2nd baby and yes he was lying really low that OBNGYN find it hard to scan his head towards my last trimester. Delivered via medically necessary planned c section. In terms of breastfeeding, he didn’t have problem drinking just that I always end up with sore nipples after his feed. Went to a lactation consultant and she suggested that I visit an osteopath. It was tough until we got an osteopath to make some adjustment for him at 10 days old. He still does not like lying on his back at 2 months old now but definitely much better than before.

Omg I basically lived on antibiotics through my pregnancy cause I had kidney infection all the time and also my teeth I had work on due to having toothaches had to have the antibiotics also I had bronchitis for 4 weeks and had antibiotics I basically lived on antibiotics through my pregnancy and my daughter had colic really bad

I had a really fast delivery - it was a quick exit and I had no guidance from midwife as she didn’t think I was ready to push !

The hardest but also sweetest thing is that my baby wants to be held by me 24/7.
