for those who can't find Balatro under Application Support, theres multiple files named Application Support in MacOS, make sure you're all the way down to your apple user -> (command shift period) libraries -> application support -> balatro. if it's not there, reply to this comment

I own an M1 MacBook Air Downloaded the Lovely Mac (Arm) v0.5.0-beta6 Put everything in the right folders, doesn't work. Keeps giving me: "dyld[57697]: terminating because inserted dylib 'liblovely.dylib' could not be loaded: tried: 'liblovely.dylib' (mach-o file, but is an incompatible architecture (have 'arm64', need 'x86_64'))" Try the Lovely Mac (x86), put them in the folders. Run them together, doesn't work. Take the run_lovely.sh from the Arm version and the liblovely.dylib from the x86 version. Finally opens without issue.

I can do most of this, but once I try to run the .sh file in Terminal, the OS tells me that it won't run the unverified file. Figured it out! The block can be removed in security settings.

Hi, can you explain what the top left tab is after you had downloaded lovely and the cryptid mod, i was able to recreate the other two finder tabs, but i have no idea what the top left one is? Edit: it turns out that i simply dont know how to display the file directory (as in the folders going from user>username>library>etc.) but i think i found another way. That other way gets blocked because once i enter the users tab and enter my tab, I am lacking a "library" Tab. I have a library tab outside of my user tab, should i try that because after opening it, i can find application support? Balatro does not show up in application support. in all honesty, i've tried moving library into my user folder only to receive a error saying "the item “Library” can’t be replaced because it’s invisible." and as stated, there is no balatro folder, let alone balatro mod folder within my application support. Would it be possible to enter a screen sharing call to help me? If it makes the problem easier to answer, my mac uses and M2 chip.

Ah man, can't seem to get it to work. Keeps saying 'Love quit unexpectedly' when I try the last step. When I go to create the mod folder inside Balatro application support part , I noticed I don't have a file that says 'Config', do you think that has something to do with it?

When I try to launch from the terminal I get “permission denied”. Any fix? I am on a MacBook. I have followed the steps best I could for the difference.

Is there a certain reason why it doesn't work when we normally launch from steam?
