I'm trying to install radio into gokart, have no sound from speakers, everything hooked up, keep hearing it needs amp? But have no wire from new radio for it? What am I missing?

dude what this fuck man i bought the back speaker adapter right from this video and its the wrong size none of it fits how its supposed to not even the screws i already have this all taken apart man what the fuck

I did this too but my system lets out a constant high pitch squeel. Everything works but that squeel is bothersome, any tips on how to fix?

Nice info.. Thanks.. Are you ever got to install a pioneer or 1 inch tweeter ? I just did a component sistwm but the tweeter. Wont fit. Oh also if you remove the oem tweeter it will not soumd you have to still connect the cable. Thags what i did. Cut it out but the cable still there so it works

Quick question. Where exactly did you ground your rear speakers? UPDATE: I couldn't find a grounding point that didn't have a alternator whine while simultaneously making the speakers get super hot and putting the head unit into shutdown mode. So I just wired the rears into the factory amp bypass harness and ran the wires down the bottom of the door sills and right up to the speakers. Now they sound absolutely fantastic. Rear Speakers: JBL GTO 939's Head unit: JVC KW-V25BT

So no need for an extra metra connector for the rear ? Correct I ordered 2 thinking I would need it lol

For the rear speakers in the factory system the reason why you see 2 different sets of wires is that factory system along with speaker has a speaker and woofer in one if you are using mid-bass speakers in the rear you can use red and black but if you want full range audio use that blue wire as your positive and the grey as the negative!!!

So did you completely eliminate the factory because I bought an is recently but who ever did the work made it a mess and the rears don't work

I’m looking for many of the parts they used but a lot of those head units and parts are out of stock cause of the pandemic and all that jazz that happened. Really sucks cause I need a big upgrade

I clicked on the radio harness link and it took me to a saturn ion radio harness. Are you sure thats the right one listed?
