Defect Pixels on multiple Twinkly Light Trees. Light Trees now finished the second outdoor season with app 12weeks outside in total. The number of defect pixels now increased significantly end of the second season. The light trees are IP44 like most of the rest of christmas lights, but it seems not to be advisable to use them outdoor.
The Pixels are proprietary 2pin-pixels, and the defect ones show significant corrosion also inside the housing, which might be the root cause.
The 2pin RGBW-LED's seems to be programmed to a dedicated pixel number, the programming pins are not available, the 2-pin LED's seem not to be available on market.
Seems that the LED Light trees and the defect pixels are irreparable even for Twinkly, after 12weeks of usage a disaster.
