Laurence Anyways is absolutily one of the films that I love the most. Don't know exactly the reason, but I always cry while whatching it. It's so personal and real that that it moves me somehow. The photography and colors are just perfect, the fashion design impecable and the storyline on point. What else could I be looking for? Social and philosophical issues? Oh, wait, it also have it. Thanks Xavier Dolan for this pearl.
Great days wonderful memories 😎
Lo amo lo amo
If you like the sounds of the old Caroline from the 60`s then give "Radio Caroline Flashback" a go. We love it.
😎, I was tuned in the day before at 5pm to Simon Dee and test transmissions in Lynchford Rd, Farnborough/ Aldershot area,
It would have been better to play the original on air transition, the difference in quality kills it dead : ) God Bless

When I watch his movies or him talking I feel like I'm not the only one like that in the world.
Mani Swift me too, I don’t feel alone when I watch his movies, or hear him talk
Is it still a tv station or no?
It never was.
@@routeoz02 It never was a video-station only a sound-station, but the root of the popmusic in the 60ties. May be, I have some samples on my bandmachine.
@@INGBWLer I know. I used to listen to Caroline and London; sometimes one or two others. I have a cassette or two of Caroline's test transmissions in '83.
xavier dolan is incredible - to have made such an incredible movie like laurence anyways and yet to so openly talk about who he is his goals his fears his desires, its incredible, it only makes me love him more and appreciate all the movies that he's given to the world

The only place where you listen to music that was relevant to me in the 1960's, anyone remember the intro's to The Big mad world of Daffy Don Allen'?

Of course his films are viewed as works by a young person, they feel young, his style has a sense of youth, a jeunesse, to it. But there's nothing wrong with being young, nor does being young make you immature or a kid.
