@@100turley sorry could you be more specific... Release? There is a sustain pedal input and comes with a pedal normally. You'll want a better one though. The plastic square ones are too small and move around on stage

Other keyboards that I've owed always have this function but I've never used pedals before so I assume the sustain pedal gives same result. I'm downgrading from a yamaha mx88 as I've no room for an amplifier so want something with nice built in speakers. This looks a great option

@@BetweenTheKeys-fw9in It's good for what I purchased it for. I wanted the Yamaha refaces but did not like either the price nor the tiny keyboard. The Casio offers similar voices with a fullsized keyboard at a very affordable price. And super lightweight as well. Not the greatest keyboard ever made but really nice sounds.

I like it. You can never recreate an acoustic perfectly. I wouldn't call it sluggish. Lighten by 1 if you prefer that. You have to do it every time ( there might be a way to save it but i dont know how). But it's easy. The app worked for me but I very rarely use it. Useful for stage though if you want more sounds and more controls over your sound.

@@dc2guy2 you can connect it to a pc with Bluetooth so I don't see why not. Though that is an unusual setup. I'd say get some monitors (speakers) as well to be safe

@dc2guy2 understandable. Small speakers can now be quite loud so worth a look

The best choice for this use case is a Yamaha P-525 (or P-225). You can even use iOS apps like Pianoteq. The Yamahas have class compliant USB audio/MIDI interfaces.

There are settings listed in the manual for 10 piano sounds, plus many other sounds. They are easy to switch between. I use the rock piano and also like the suitcase (Rhodes sounding) setting.

@@RichRocketMan there are a few differences and I think the 30x is worth the extra money but the fp10 is great for beginners. Ask yourself how long you'll own it, will you ever perform on stage, and how much you'll play it at home realistically

Online community is buzzing about this. Have you heard about this? If yes, thoughts? Seems like an amazing deal.

@@RichRocketMan I haven't but it sounds like a good deal to me! However, check the differences on the model, as they all have slightly different features. As long as the sounds are good, the action is good, and you have all the connections you need on the back then you are good to go

@@BudinVegas interesting. I've never played on the fp 60 or 90 and didn't notice any issues with my 30x. Except key clicking on one low Eb. But it doesent affect playing at all

I would love to compare them; I can get a Liano online to review it. Not sure how I feel about buying a product to review and then return it though. Perhaps I can get over that and it would be worthwhile. How is the U3? How often does it need tuning? That would be on my radar if I was looking at buying an acoustic, but I might wait another 10 years to do that.

Apparently (based on other reviews) the Korg Liano has semi weighted keys that are not that good for a beginner but great if you want a maybe a second piano as a very light stage piano with amazing sound.

Seems like we're all doing the same thing. At 65 I'm going to rekindle my attempts to learn the piano. Just ordered one of these off Amazon for our house in Mexico. Looking forward to it, looks like it's got more than I need in the way of functionality.

You click on add and then click screen capture, and then select window, not whole screen. With Chordie App open already on your computer it will be one of the options when you select windowed screen capture. Hope this helps.
