I love you, Bastila
Getting Bastila back to the Light Side on the Star Forge.
"I love you, too. With all my heart."
"You aren't afraid to love anymore?"
"After this? No, nothing could make me feel safer than to be loved by you."

Every time i try to induce blackness in my heart... You remind me of the echo of light behind a shut door.. Love light will always lead 2 serenity Ty
"The power of the Dark Side is superior!" "No!" "Oh, alright then."
I think the best ending for this game, as in the most heavy and fitting for Revan, would be that he is half ds, half ls, ends up romancing Bastila, but at the end is not able to convince her to abandon the dark side and is forced to kill her. It makes that last battle with Malak something much more significant than any other route, I'd say.
Respectfully disagree, i believe saving someone with love is the perfect end here, because it goes against the dumbass jedi's code
Still a better love story than Rise of Skywalker
Bastila owes me head

Asking the real questions LMFAO
@@polyman6859 lol
Dammit; I've played through at least 3 times and I always end up having to kill her. Somehow I always end up missing some crucial influences with her.
It’s likely you bring up the romance after you kiss her but before she gets turned by Malak. Basically don’t talk to her about the kiss/romance until you battle her on the Star forge.
@@polyman6859 Hm, I cannot remember, it's been too long since I played last. IMHO Kotor2 is much better pretty much all the way around; better models, better companions, better story, more interesting locations, and the voice of Kelly Hu - I could listen to her sultry voice babbling nonsense for hours. I may have to file that away if I ever decide to play K1 again.
@@WickedPrince3D Honestly thats a respectable opinion on Kotor 2. Imo Kotor 1 and 2 are both amazing and should be played in junction with eachother every time. Each time I beat 1 I immediately boot up 2. Visas Marr definitely awakened something in me as well... I'm glad we could actually romance her in Kotor 2 unlike anybody else. Wait this is off topic looool. Just remember not to bring up the romance around Bastila after you kiss her.
@@polyman6859 I brought up K2 because I started another run through it a bit ago. I don't even think I have K1 installed because of my disappointment with the game in general in several ways, and specifically my inability to get the Bastila romance to work. Kelly Hu is the babe who played the sorceress girl in the first Scorpion King movie. th-cam.com/video/6CRbO4l-qb4/w-d-xo.html
Quite possibly... no, IS the best romance in the whole Star Wars franchise. I WILL DIE ON THAT HILL!
HARAMBEEEEEEEEE
this game can really make you feel for the people on your journey. this game did a perfect job at making us feel like we are revan.
Po
I hated bestila from my heart. She was like a self righteous brat. I would have killed her but the game crashed on me and the game didn't work again. I just wish I could pierce her with my lightsaber
Thanks for this info edgelorddragnuts
love lead to sex , its has to be in the dark........side
I think if your Darkside you just tell her that you're more powerful than Malak and she joins you. Then kicks the Republic's butt
"After this? No. nothing could make me feel safer than to be loved by you." fuck...
wait why didnt i have these options?
Can't you play as a woman?
You can, but you don't have to.
"nothing could make me feel safer than to be loved by you" - ladies, take notes.
This game is one of the best things that has happened to star wars.
When I played this game for the first time I went for the dark side ending but it just didn't feel right. I felt terrible for some reason. When I finally finished the game as a jedi I felt a wave of satisfaction.
bummer bastila's theme isn't playing, would have added to mood.
This scene feels really cheap and unearned to me. "Turn to the light" "No" "Turn to the light" "No" "Turn to the light" "Okay"
You completely missed the theme and appeal to love lmao
I was pure evil first time. Killing mission was so fun. Then the wookie attacked me
I love you, KOTOR P.S. Mass Effect - one of the most boring games i ever play
Yeah I hate Mass Effect
As cheesy as this was I loved every second of it.
It's even better when you have female character
Revan and Bastila's love story is great and it is the exact opposite of what happened in the Prequel Trilogy. In that Darth Sidious (Emperor Palpatine) uses Anakin Skywalker's love for Padme Amidala to lure him to the Dark Side with a false promise of finding the power to prevent her from dying in childbirth, somewhat justifying the Jedi stance that falling in love can lead to the Dark Side. In KOTOR however the script is flipped and Revan saves Bastila from the Dark Side by professing his love for her, leading to her admitting her love for him too and redeeming her from her fall to the Dark Side. Unfortunately in typical Star Wars fashion their journey ends up becoming far from what it may have originally intended to be. In KOTOR 2 we learn that Revan remembered the dark threat waiting beyond the Outer Rim and went off to fight it, leaving Bastila and their child behind. She appears at the end of the game with Carth Onasi in the hope that Meetra Surik (the Jedi Exile) knew where Revan had gone (which she didn't). A third KOTOR game was in development but managerial changes at LucasArts led to the project being canceled and instead we were eventually given SWTOR where we learn that the Sith Emperor Vitiate captured Revan and held him captive for 300 years thus ending the love story between Revan and Bastila in an unconvincing way. Instead of being reunited she ended up living out the rest of her life without having to face war with the Sith Empire as Revan influenced him to wait a long time. I think that these two deserved a happy ending but it never eventuated.
I don't consider SWTOR to be the continuation to KOTOR and I would like to think after KOTOR 3 Revan returned to the known galaxy and lived out the rest of his days with Bastila and their child
Why do they always screw us over with the good stories? I can bet they planned to have Bastila reunite with Revan in the third game before they retconned the idea in Old Republic that I can't even play without solid cash flow... They took the third force Unleashed from us, too that would have had a wicked Boba Fett main villain.
Now kithh!
"Nothing could make me feel safer than being loved by you" is such a lovely line. I miss this older style of Star Wars games...
way too uncynically romantic to ever be allowed in a modern sw movie/game. it was an easier, more honest time back then
Old republic have bad design like OT and prequels, it must be dark medieval, like real old times
the best rpg ever
Natalia Tena should play Bastila Shan in live action form.
Cringe they put this in a video game lol
You're cringe. You just want to see pronouns in your games don't you brat?
Ah yes it’s very cringe they put a sincere and heartwarming catharsis in my Star Wars game oh wait no that’s not cringe that’s actually appropriate and cool.
What role did you pick in the character customization? I'm trying to play the game as close to the Canon storyline as possible.
I had to choose this option because my persuade skill wasn't high enough
Oh, so love has blinded you?
Jesus, if we could have Kotor 2 dialogue in a Kotor 1 plot, we would have it all.
Jedi, Sith, or Balanced. Love will always conquer. Whether you're good or evil.
Revan Is probably wiser than Yoda, from a certain point of view. He knows that both the sides of the force can be used for good, and he also understand that emotions aren't a Path for the dark side, but something that can help a Jedi to reject It. Yoda couldn't see Anakin's suffer and he never understood that If they wanted to bring balance to the force, they had to be a bit closer to the dark side and use both sides. Revan could have been the perfect master for Anakin, If he wasn't dead.
You mean in the Time Anakin lived, Revan lived 4000 Years before the Battle of Yavin.
That's just wrong. The dark side can't be used for good and Revan was well aware of that. Revan was not a master of both sides, he simply understood the dark side better because he had been there.
I messed this whole thing up by losing bastilla to revan before confessing to her
6:24 "Good luck my Love and may the Force be with you" Damn the best Motivation before fighting Malak
Sometimes that's all a man needs to hear
@@1992zorro actually no matter what side you choose dark or light , bastila is still your gf and loyal to you .
She learns force tug...
@@mordyth 🤣🤣🤣🤣🔥
Well you can fail to redeem her
I love being called Revan all the way up to the unknown planet. "But I'm not Revan anymore! I'm Revan! We're not the same people!"
I call him Revan Skywalker. Adding his actual last name makes it seem like he gained a piece of himself back. He isn't Just Revan, a cruel Sith, anymore, he is the Jedi that rallied many to save his galaxy.
Light side? Meh. Better force wookiee to kill a child.
