Hi there, so sorry for the late response and thank you! 😊 Total trip was supposed to be 10 nights originally with 2 travel days, but we lost out on 1 night of the Korea leg due to forgetting to apply for Korea visitor's visa, so 9 nights total! 2 nights in Korea (only stayed in Seoul), 7 nights in Japan. We wanted to spend more time in Japan and had a hotel incentive for booking 5 nights at the same place (so we did that in Tokyo area) and then we also wanted to check out Osaka and Hakone region so that is how we came to 7 nights in Japan! Honestly we weren't the best planners, only booked lodging and transportation prior to the trip, but you can't go wrong as long as you're willing to be flexible! We loved both countries and would definitely be more intentional in planning activities if we were to go back again 😅

Hi there! We stayed at 2 hotels, Courtyard by Marriott and then the Marriott. We did walk through RIU to explore and it is gorgeous and they seem to have a lot of events at night based on the music we could hear from Courtyard down the street lol. For entry, we only needed to fill out an online ED card (we were prompted to do so when checking in for our airline), you can also google the form, it should be free to file. That's all! Hope you guys have a wonderful anniversary trip!!

haha we looked it up on the trip bc we were thinking just that as well! apparently every mountain has a "northface" which is the coldest, iciest, and thus hardest to climb. the brand though is named after the northface of the half dome in yosemite!
