It smells too on occasion because of the cows.. the lack of cover from the elements and the inhumane treatment of the steers waiting to be slaudered sitting on the ground in feed lots everywhere... its pretty nasty . Wind wind wind!... so saying this tho.. It is pretty much conservative.... and fairly safe.. just watch where you are and going out at night . Be aware like every other city. We need more adult activities like casinos and more shops. Like malls and higher end places..... the mall here is practically vacant! So... lol. RAM ON!

The biggest attraction in Amarillo tx is the prisons they have several including one of texass only maximum security units most guards live in and around Amarillo they are crooked rapist murderer's in my 4 years in Amarillo on clements unit I personally saw the guards unalive multiple people

As a perosn born and raised here, it has shitty public transport almost jo sidewalks , the power grid and roads arent not ready for the growth that is currently happening, power goes out every other thunderstorm and it is a reitred military and farmer town still so people like to drive slow / 5 under the speed limit so more accidents are happening from city folk moving in trying to drive they way they do where they originally lived. Im not trying to hate on city folk but seriously its not built for disabled people or people without cars. Also they are rampently building crappy townhouses everywhere that should not be passing inspection becuase they just wanna sell sell, sell they dont care about you or your family.

Back up until about 2000, Farmington ave. was only one lane each way and a large section of it was farm land. My parents used to stop and let Mr. Larson cross Farmington ave. on his tractor.

Not the worst place to live. But it’s overpopulated. My family came here when most of the land in Bristol was rural. Back when the middle of Bristol was a tiny, but booming manufacturing center. It was like a quaint small town, with MAJOR manufacturing. Now, under employed and overdeveloped. Not to mention Forestville hasn’t had much representation for decades. The good.. for its size, Bristol has several nice neighborhoods and you really don’t need to leave town for almost anything you’d need. All things considered, I wouldn’t look to move here now.
