این زبان بختیاریست. من بختیاریم بختیاری را لر بزرگ و لرهای لرستان را لر کوچک می گویند. بیشتر اقوام دیگری که خود را لر می نامند لر واقعی نیستند بلکه در جوار این لرها سنتها و فرهنگهای لرهای بختیاری و لرستانی را تقلید کردند و سپس از خود نمودند. بختیاریها وقتی لری لرستان را می شنوند چندان آنها را نمی فهمند اما وقتی لری لرستان را روی کاغذ بنویسند برای ما بختیاری ۹۰٪ قابل فهم است. لرهای لرستان در عوض زبان بختیاری را می توانند راحتر در حالت شنیداری بفهمند. یعنی زبان کاملا مشترک در واژهای داریم اما در گویش و تلفظ واژها لری متفاوتیم. زبان بختیار و لری لرستان مثل نروژی و سوئدی است که نروژیها سوئدیها را کامل در شنیداری می فهمند اما سوئدی ها چندان متوچه گویش نروژی نیستند هرچند این زبانها تقریبا یکی هستند. اما یک سوئدی می تواند متن نروژی را بخواند و کاملا متوجه متن شود.

The Persians didn't have their own country for 1300 years, from 636 AD until 1925 AD and under these years they were belonged to the arabs The Rashidun Caliphs and then to the arabs The Umayyad Caliphate and then to the arabs The Abbasid Caliphate and then to the seljuk turks and then to the mongols and then to The Safavid Empire which was of mixed ancestry (Kurdish and Azerbaijani) and then to the Turkish Afsharid Empire and then to the Kurdish Zand Empire and finally to the Turkish Qajar Empire until 1925, when the British and French occupied the whole Middle East during WW1 including the whole Turkish Ottoman Empire with its capital Istanbul and the whole Turkish Qajar Empire with its capital Tehran. In 1925 the British liberated the persians from the Turkish Qajar rulers and established a new country (since 1935 calls Iran) and installed Reza shah Pahlavi as the first ethnic persian ruler since 1300 years. But the same British people didn't liberate the Kurds on the contrary they made it much worst for them, they divided Kurdistan into four parts according to the evil sykes picot agreement between Britain and France 1916 and destroyed the life of the whole Kurdish nation and now it's time to put end to the evil Sykes Picot agreement.
