Why Being A Football Wonderkid Sucks
มุมมอง 9K21 วันที่ผ่านมา
A young player that is given the title of ‘Wonderkid’ is the football equivalent to the kiss of death. It’s a label you can’t outrun and in most cases, it’s a label you can’t live up to. They say expectation is the root of all heartache, and for your average wonderkid, the expectations are astronomical. Like and subscribe for more content 🔥 #bojan #wilshere #wonderkid

Highly praised and highly criticized, the German puppet master had eyes in the back of his head. In an era with the likes of Neuer, Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Kroos, Muller and Klose, he managed to win a record 5 German national team player of the year awards. Despite not being the strongest or the fastest, his technical ability has always put him levels above his peers. Like and subscribe for more ...

Kroos one is just too crazy to fathom.
#1 - Ildefons Lima has also done this
W
Manchester Utd are England's most successful club, but only three managers have ever won the league with them - Alex Ferguson, Matt Busby and Ernest Mangnall, who won Man Utd's first two titles in 1908 and 1911. He later managed Manchester City and is the only person to have managed both clubs.
Imagine if Suárez and sturridge had Trent instead of jon f*king Flanagan 😂😂
This channel is amazing. It sounds like hes going over mysterious facts but its actually football not to mention its always well researched. Definitely 1 of my favorite football channels and the football facts is definitely a hit keep more coming!!
Ribery made nothing to beat Ronaldo or Messi, the award is for the best player that season, not the team who won the most titles
He wasn't underrated he was just unlucky or lucky depending on how you look at it. He played in a Utd team full of Top top players. So he never quite was the main man. At times he was fantastic. Just inconsistent at times.
Number 3 is actually not the only club this century to do that. In the 2021-22 and 2022-23 Bosnian second division, First League of Republika Srspka, FK Krupa won both with it being promoted. This is because they were relegated in 2020-21 from the top flight because they had no money to afford a license in the to division. They were then relegated in 2022-23 to the 4th tier(?) of Bosnian football due to these financial issues. Nobody knows where they are now.
Didier Ndong was a baller man
Only Lord Bendtner🗣🗣
#9 -Me in fifa career mode refusing to retire
Four different decades is wild 😨
You have to listen to what other top players say and they say scholes was the best, so thats that.
#3: Jorge Wilstermann were Bolivian Champions and relegated on the same year. They won the League in July 10, 2010 and were relegated on November 28.
Didn’t United break the Rodri record in the fa cup final last season?
Rivelino popularized and perfected the Elastico and kindly always remembered the unknown Sergio Ichigo on his interviews, a classy act by him because without that he would absolutely be forgotten, also because Sergio used to try it just on training.
Finally some recognition to El Loco Abreu, guy is an absolute legend. Very intelligent too. He was absolutely aware of the possibility of a record and capitalized on it in the final years of his career.
Fun Fact: Marek Koźmiński is the only Polish player to play during Włodzimierz Smolarek's last international game and later, Euzebiusz Smolarek's debut international game. (Włodzimierz and Euzebiusz were father and son.)
The rodri one is crazy
Here’s a fun one, costel pantilimon played for a few English clubs.. he is the tallest player to ever win the Premier League 😅
also even more interestingly, he’s a child of deaf parents, making him (probably) the only prem winner who spoke sign language
17 is mad 😂
Fan-owned AFC Wimbledon went from the English 9th tier to where they are now, the 4th tier, in under a decade, without a majority shareholder or celebrity endorsement. Ali Al-Hamadi played for AFC Wimbledon in the 4th tier, then signed for the EFL Championship's Ipswich Town, who got promoted. Ali is the first Iraqi to ever play in the Prem
i replayed #2 a couple of times and i couldn’t understand it, can anyone help out please
i think they were the only players on the team born after 10. 3. 1990 (the date of reunification of east and west germany). pretty neat they combined for a goal in the final
@ ohhh alright, cheers for that mate
@@BaqerFi was incorrect, they were the first players on the team to be born after the aforementioned date, not the only ones
Barca were favored to win the 2009 champions league to make Messi the next big star Ronaldo demanded the coach to be a starting player in the 2024 Euros France were poisoned to lose to Argentina in the world cup Qatar bribed the referees to win the Asia cup twice
of course nobody remembers Ronaldo played as a wide midfielder not a striker in 2003
5:20 This used to be the record, but not anymore. The new record now belongs to Leandro Requena, who was playing for Cobresal at the time, who scored a goal against Colo-Colo in the Chilean League that was 101 meters, or 110.5 yards long, which was scored in March of 2023.
I love these types of videos!!
I'm loving these specific types of videos, keep em coming 🔥
Rodri lost to Manchester United in FA cup, no?
You forgot Manchester United broke Rodri record Manchester United is playing crap let me have a win today
Wolves fam
2:45 Also another fact: Joe Gaetjens scored more goals for the USA than he did for his home country, Haiti. He played for Haiti from 1944 to 1953, 3 games, scored 0 goals. He played for USA solely in 1950, 3 games, 1 goal.
how tho??
Number 16?
This channel is highly underrated 😊
0:38 Back to back 2nd division champ?
Traoré and Jimenez at Wolverhampton were beasts until Jimenez's head injury.
2:07 fun fact, "Loco" Abreu was in Gremio in 98/99 when Ronaldinho debuted, and Dinho was the substitute for him during 2nd half ot the games, so Loco can say he benched Dinho 😂
For #1, Ildefons Lima of Andorra has also played internationally in 4 different decades, from 1997 to 2023. And fun fact, Lima has the same international appearences as Litmanen, both being capped 137 times for Andorra and Finland respectively!
thanks for these videos
Denmark won the 1992 Euros despite not qualifying for the tournament
Portsmouth have won the FA cup twice actually
I just got into this sport by my cosuin who actually plays it he does play smash competitively
Both lampard and Gerrard was in front of him in England so I don't know how he outclassed everyone. At that time there were players better than him in every big club in Europe . Pirlo , del Pierro, Wesley sneijder, xavi, Ronaldinho , Zidane, well just to mention some
6:25 given that Mbappe has only played two WCs, I can see him easily beating that record in years to come (I'm talking about total WC goals)
How about the REAL story of Man United's infamous "grey kit" game v Southampton?
0:46 the goat!!
The biggest French coup was not including him in World Cup team 😢
dodged bullets by not joining arsenal really lol
Dang Kanga carried my FM2020 save for like 5 seasons the beast. Didn’t know he got some stuff abt him 😂
He might have been one of the players that helped win them the league but he couldn't take Leeds into the CL because Glasgow Rangers beat the EPL champions home and away. Rangers were unbeaten in the CL and were one goal away from the final that season in the first ever CL after the format for the old European cup had changed which Rangers were involved in the CL happening. Eric went onto bigger things after Leeds obviously but he at least lifted the title with them.
