I would hope then that the mark of the beast is not a literal tangible beast, but that the mark holds spiritual meaning. I would earnestly hope also that the beast also is not literal or is an earthly figure but speaks of mankind who is the beast.

Peter is not the rock, Peter’s faith is the foundation on which the church stands on. Faith that Jesus is The Som of the living God.
You are correct. Thank you for commenting. I should not have released the video with that error. Peter's confession launched the church upon knowing who Jesus was and is the Christ, the anointed one, and the Son of the living God. Which meant Jesus was begotten of the Father; he came from the Father. But that is a hold of another discussion of the Trinity. Thank you, my brother. Be blessed!

Matthew: A former tax collector who became one of the Twelve Apostles. He is attributed to writing the Gospel of Matthew. Mark: A follower of Peter and considered an “apostolic man.” He is traditionally associated with the Gospel of Mark. Luke: A doctor who wrote both the Gospel of Luke and the book of Acts (Acts of the Apostles). He was a close friend of Paul of Tarsus. John: A disciple of Jesus and the youngest of the Twelve Apostles. He is credited with writing the Gospel of John. Early church fathers assigned their names, although no writers signed their work.
