Apparently this scene was loosely based on a real incident at the Stardust involving Tony Spilotro. He had been drinking heavily and was being belligerent toward the dealers because he thought they were using rigged decks on Lefty’s orders. After busting several hands in a row, he picked up the cards and threw them at the dealer while telling him to shove the cards up his ass before walking away from the table.

“And when they do find out they just got hit with a cattle prod they really wish they did had a heart attack”. lol 😂 one of my favorite line of Casino.

He knocks out Rickles then waits for his marker..LOL

I remember seeing this movie in highschool and laughing so hard at Don Rickles turning over on the floor that my larynx hurt.

Possibly the greatest performance in this movie was Don Rickles actually playing a role straight and not having the entire cast and crew in stitches the whole time filming
