9 Lives Lanzarote are a spay/neuter charity (Licenced Charity No: 036500387807.5) in Lanzarote founded and run by Bernie Payton. They receive no funds from the Spanish government or any other sources, and hence depend on private donations.
Their main objectives are:
1. Spaying & Neutering of Feral Cats and annual Spay/Neuter Campaigns.
2. Following up on cats after they have been neutered and looking after their welfare.
3. The setting up "Cat Cafés" (communal feeding stations) in hotels and tourist complexes.

We don´t normally rehome cats (we wish we could, but we simple don´t have the resources), but occasionally we do so because we cannot turn a blind eye on our feline friends. These two kittens have found a loving home together.

Trapping some young cats in a complex where the management is about to poison(!) them. They are going to be spayed/neutered and then relocated on another complex where cats are welcome and safe, and where there is an existing feeding station maintained by the charity.
