Nice 👌🏻
Counter sink to correct depth
@@liberty7835 I assume you're referring to the bolt not being long enough? That bolt also holds the trigger guard in place, so you can't countersink it.....as you'd be drilling thru the trigger guard. I called Savage and they sent me some longer bolts at no charge.
What is the color on that stock?
@@rdmiller901 that is the Shady Camo color.
Mine does the same but honestly its not a big deal. The gun is fantastic, reliable, accurate, feels good in the hands. I love it.
The issue is not knowing when the mag is dry. In this case you think there’s a round and you hear CLICK instead of BANG. Instead of loading a new mag and drop the slide you have to run a full cycle of the slide. If it’s just a range toy sure it’s no big deal but if you plan to use it in any SHTF scenario , you may be at a disadvantage.
Como se dersarma
Easy fix.
It's possible that you're plus two magistration makes it so you're not getting enough pressure on the mag spring
The +2 mag extension is from the factory....the gun comes with 2 mags that have the extensions installed on them. If they are using the normal 18 round mag springs in their 20 round mags, that could be a factor....but either way, the fix is the same.....remove slide and push up on the slide stop to stretch the spring just a bit to take some tension out of it.
Is the gun the problem or the owner? 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️I didn’t see no problem lol 😂
Slide was not locking back with an empty mag. The fix is posted above.
I found my slide stop was filthy and it didnt allow stop to be in proper place
The problem is that the slide stop spring is overpowering the mag spring. The solution is very simple. Remove the slide and push up on the slide stop far enough to stretch the slide stop spring just a bit.
Dude, you're a genius. Same problem with my TP9DA. Removed slide, pushed up hard on the slide lock as far as it would go, now it locks back on an empty mag every time. Great job!
Send the air with oil
Why even choose this pistol? I know it’s nice out of the box and fairly priced but there are superior products for the same price
Which ones?
This pistol is so terrible that I bought 2 more just like it. If you can let me know who else sells a longslide 9mm that is optics ready, has an awesome trigger right out of the box and can shoot dime sized groups at 25 yards for $450.....let me know.
@@vacextar This exactly.
vacextar Springfield xdm elite for $500
@@motorbreath-4172 I was not aware of those. It appears that the longslide version is not optics ready?.....only the suppressor-ready model is? Looks like a very nice option if street price is reasonable...
Try expanding your mag spring after opening the mag.
Looks like your not cycling it all the way. But if that's a promag. Have had the same issue. The mag spring doesn't have enough force to push the slide stop up at empty.
Aftermarket slide stop time
Power numbers? It's for sale now
Did you figure out what was wrong?
I just had the same thing happen to me. I field stripped the pistol and found that the part of the slide stop that interacts with the magazine had sheered off. Other than that, everything has been perfect with the pistol. I'm going to be calling Century Arms today to see what they say.
@@Debbin1000 please let us know what they say? My new tp9sf elite didn't lock back on my first and only mag that has gone though it "so far". (Time crunch.) So it could have been my fault from having my thumb on the lock lever? But incase it was not, I want to know what it could be and also, I am curious to know how the customer service is? Thank you in advance.
@@ck2t528 they gave me two options: I send it in and they fix it or they send me the parts and I fix it myself. I chose to do it myself. Took about 10 days to get the parts. Just make sure you register the pistol with them before trying to use the warranty, though I am not sure what will happen if you don't do so first.
@@thelogands1 cool. Thank you.
What was the result?
