@@spritesensation in Mexico at least, we had it on open national tv every week day back in the 90s. Same with stuff like Sailor Moon, DB, Saint Seiya, Pokemon, Digimon, etc.
Well, based on what I've heard (I'm from Mexico) Anime gained a cult following in Latin America in the early 1990s when domestic animation was not feasible due to budget restrictions. Japan welcomed the new audiences and embraced them.
Hace 26 años escuché por primera vez este tema de uno de los mejores ánimes que teníamos en la TV. Enseguida la melodía se convirtió en una de mis favoritas. Es increíble que la sensación al escucharla hoy sea tan parecida a la de ese lejano 1998.

Quisiera un día entender que carajos le pasó a Rumiko, cómo se le ocurre crear semejante animé y no darle un final decente! encima nunca reconocerlo y decir "okey, vamos a reparar ésto, le daremos un buen cierre a ésta historia" nah, dejó la obra tirada como si nada y siguió nomas, lo peor es que con Inuyasha también cometió terribles errores 🙄 creo que después de Urusei Yatsura se le fue todo el "súper don" de terminar perfectamente una obra, desde inicio hasta final.

Este anime te hace sentir enamorado.......su musica y la historia de akane con ranma es una de las más bonitas que he visto.........me recuerda a cuando no le dije mis sentimientos a una chica en la secundaria, siendo que ella esperaba eso de mi.......al final se fue y nunca más la volvi a ver.....

@@UltimatevoidYTIn the manga they end up going on one final adventure in which the following happens: Spoiler Warning obviously: Ranma, Ryoga and Moose go on one final adventure to save Jusenkyo. Akane gets kidnapped. Eventually during the final fight Akane gets vaporized by the main villains powerful ability. And Ranma fights to keep her alive, as the power turned her into a mini doll like thing, but she was still alive just under a time limit of how long she'd stay alive for. Ranma fights desperately to keep Akane safe, and even professes his love for her, Akane in doll form manages to hear this. Ranma eventually wins the fight as he is supposed to, using the power of teamwork with Ryoga, Mousse, and even Akane despite being a doll blocks some shots from the main villain, saving Ranma's life. After defeating the main villain, and keeping Jusenkyo safe, Ranma and the others had managed to save it in such a way that everything turned out alright. The main villains were able to use the water for what they needed, Akane was returned back to normal, and everyone went home safely. Then the last section is them all being home, the Tendo and Saotome family finally decided that they be wed. Right before being wed, Ukyo, Kuno, Shampoo, Ryoga and I believe Kodachi is there too. After saving Jusenkyo, the Jusenkyo guide had given the Tendo family a barrel containing magical Jusenkyo water that would cure Ranma. However in the fight that was caused by Kuno, Kodachi and Shampoo, they realize that the barrel was empty, inside was Happosei believing that it was Sake. After this, Ranma and Akane decide not to marry, at least not yet. The final scenes depict the two running to school together. Akane says "I'll race you to the school!" And that's how the story ends.

Esta melodía refleja el alma de Shiryu,su deseo de vivir en paz junto a su amada Shunrei y con su maestro Dhoko que es como su padre,un sueño que tal vez no se haga realidad porque su deber es luchar por la justicia incluso a costa de su propia vida,que gran caballero es s Shiryu!

Shiryu de Dragón es uno de los caballeros más populares de la serie,es capaz de dar la vida por sus amigos y a diferencia de Ikki ,Shiryu no pelea para matar a sus enemigos incluso trata de convercerlos de que desistan y les da otra oportunidad.
