The cage for the gecko is great but Reptile carpet is really bad for your reptiles because it can carry disease very easily and possibly kill your gecko but otherwise the cage looks great

I’m getting a gecko soon!! I just need to know from someone who knows, am i allowed to take my gecko out of its cage during the day? Like can i treat it like a normal lizard how I could just let them have fun in the day time and take them out even tho they are nocturnal?
