Lmao learn how to fish you clowns are the ones that ruin it
Love the content
@@WillsOutdoor thanks so much!
I thought the season ended?
@@Dramthegoat not just yet, we still got 2 weeks more of decent salmon fishing here in Ontario
During salmon run. Terrible.
what lake?
Which lake is that my friend?
Wow impressive!
what a fish
Dope content
Thats a huge fish holy!
How are you making this look so easy. Also what pound test do I need, and finally can I do this on braded line?
@@SidDaaKid so in this video I was using 10 pound test, but I’ve heard of people going down to 8 and still landing a bunch… you can definitely do this on braided line, but make sure your leader is fluorocarbon. The salmon get spooked otherwise
so, ok, if you are a beginner I can see why this is exciting but it's so not cool, this is the low-hanging fruit of angling. Leave the salmon alone once they enter the streams to spawn and die. I did this for one Fall when I was 14 and learned... that was decades ago. Look around you here, those aren't exactly the most talented skilled anglers.
but did anybody ask?
I have never seeen a fish that big beofree😟how heavy was iy?
@@enchantrous1416 Don’t have the exact weight… but definitely over 20 pounds
swear these are relaxing to watch
THATS A BIG MFKN FISH YO😂
@@toedough thanks definitely my pb
Nice!
Cool. What type of bait and rod you used to catch them?
@@Peace-In-Kindness I was using salmon eggs as bait and a ugly stick GX2, nothing too special but a 10 foot fly reel is your best bet when fishing rivers like these

I love these videos!

Thank you!😊
Amazing video!
Thanks
Can you fish here with non-fly-fishing gear? Maybe shallow-diving crank baits or topwater lures?
@@anonymousfu Not that I know of, almost everyone is using fly fishing gear, including most of the time bead lures or eggs
Where is the location
@@vincevarghese1926 Riverwood Park Mississauga
When was this?
@@ninos431 This was Mid July… Fish are still biting right now so get out there while you can :)
Is there not a legal distance you are supposed to be away from the dam?
@@rocketwadster4535 There is a sign there that says 10 meters away I believe… the ward comes around but he never gets mad at people for being at this exact spot
Can you share the exact location ?
@@santoshoze8655 Enter Caledonia Dam on your GPS, then once you get there goto the very most left side of the dam to get to the exact location in the video
Probably shouldn't be keeping fish you can't identify, should really check out size regulations. It is ok to release a fish.
Wow! I just confirmed that the silver looking fish is either called a mooneye fish or a goldeye fish. Awesome video btw!
@@SplashofCharm-i9q Thanks so much! I’ve heard mooneye taste like crappy if you pan fry them the right way
Great job! This video is amazing :)
Nice video bro! What’s is the best date for salmon fishing in rivers like Credit River and Bronte Creek? I’m new in Canada, but I’m really excited for fishing here. I’m really appreciate if you could give some tips for fishing in this region. I live in Hamilton, Ontario.
Thanks so much! I would say late September going into early October is the best to salmon fish on the Credit River. I’ve seen lots of action at specific spots like Riverwood Park and Erindale Park! I see most people catching with eggs from previous years but they will definitely bite on a fly as well! :)
What bait was ya using
@@Kdoogan09 we were using minnows and worms! If you goto this exact spot on the dam you can catch hundred of minnows with a net very easily
Couldn’t catch anything here lmao
@@Kdoogan09 if the water is too high this spot is not the greatest, so make sure you come 3 days prior or after it rains
Is this recent??
@@lazycrazy8904 This was recorded in late September last year but I just remembered to upload it yesterday!
Hahaha it looks like fall in the background lol 😂
Wow nice!!!
