@fablanta Thanks for the comment. For sure, saving up for that downpayment is a challenge today. The key is to have a plan. Talk to your bank, financial advisor and/or mortgage broker to help you get started with what you need to do financially to achieve your real estate goals. It may take some time but home ownership is possible.

You're right, it's not a huge drop but it's a start. We're not going to see a massive spike in homebuyers entering the market because of this quarter % cut. It provides some relief to homeowners & Buyers with more cuts to come in the future. Thanks for the comment.

Thanks for the comment. Housing has definitely become a contentious issue over the past number of years. I've seen both sides of being a tenant & landlord. As a landlord, I go above & beyond for my tenants. The point of this particular video is to show our provincial governments proposed policy and whether or not it actually helps anyone. I can appreciate you, as a tenant, may find this helpful but is it fair to your landlord or a potential buyer?

Great question. Based on the info from what I see (previous sales in the community), it looks like 1979 was the year they first started development. My folks lived in River Springs for almost 20yrs. Fantastic community.

Thank you for the comment & questions. Unfortunately, this particular property on Stevenson Creek was listed and sold back in 2019/20. All properties along Pitt Lake are boat access only. Cell phone service is non-existent. Great place to get off the grid! I believe there is a small fee to park at the Pitt Lake boat launch. If you're considering purchasing a property in the area, please let us know.

I honestly don't look at someone's yearly forecast for the entire country. What might be happening in Thunder Bay, Ontario is different than Vancouver. I can really only comment on my local market and what I've seen on a daily, weekly & monthly basis. My buyer just won a bidding war against 4 other buyers for a townhouse in Langley, BC. Multiple offers are happening on a variety of product here everyday. Is it possible prices go down 6-12 months from now here in BC? Absolutely, anything possible. As of today, people are buying and prices are remaining stable, if not trending upwards.

You can get cell/internet service but it honestly depends where you are on the property - its very spotty. It really is the perfect property to relax and "get off the grid" if you wanted too.

There is a solar panel on the property but electricity is also generated through a water turbine. All 4 cabins and the main lodge are heated with wood stoves and have instant propane hot water heaters. There are other properties scattered up & down the lake but not too close. A scheduled viewing will be dependent on the availability of the owner and access to the property. If you're working with an agent, we can send them a property brochure with further details otherwise we can forward to you directly.

Great question but unfortunately no there is not road access. Boat access only.
