how snug should they be? will it suffice if it fits just like the way it fit in between your teeth in the video?
NHS exam every two years?? 😂😂😂
Deep in the doo doo is going to be my new lingo😅
Hello doc! Hope you are well Once i clear my ORE Do i have to go for the foundation training? Is it same as PLVE?
UDA system is not fit for purpose, even less efficacious than the fee per item in Scotland, at least there they have some semblance of sensible remuneration. Entire system needs revamped.
I would never let an African dentist touch my teeth.
You did a short video on what's the difference between a private dentist and a NHS dentist you forgot to say private is a big rip off tooth extraction between £550 and £250 that's why everyone hates you lot.
headed to colombia in february for full all on 4 implants.wish me luck lol. Maybe if the US didnt have garbage health care id get it done here however i have to take the risk or continue risking my health with rotten teeth.
I'll take this as my daily reminder that "You get what you pay for".
Is it safe to do dental tourism anywhere? I just want a teeth cleaning, get my fillings redone and a whitening
I have seen good dentistry from overseas and terrible dentistry from overseas. I think like anywhere, it depends on where you go to get it done. The difference is that the oversight here in the U.S.A is significant, whereas in some other countries, the practice of dentistry is not as carefully monitored
This channel is great man
The transparency is nice. A lot of people don’t like to give realistic numbers
I can't forget the story about the woman in Northern Ireland who went to Turkey for veneers. The clinic filed down all her teeth down to matchsticks and cemented on one giant crown on top of all her teeth. Total malpractice. She then had an infection, had to have a breathing tube, and probably would have died if she didn't get emergency treatment back home. On top of that, it was something like $100,000 of dental work, along with the pain and suffering, to rectify things, but of course, she would have been better off if she never went to Turkey. Whether it's Turkey Teeth, Mexico Mouth, or something similar, don't do it. I live in the U.S. Things are more expensive here. I would sooner go into debt and default on a loan, than risk dental, or other cosmetic, tourism. I'm sure there are good dentists in these countries, but I wouldn't take the chance with this stuff.
I'm with you! Except it's really hard to get financing for dental without great credit. 😢 Care credit keeps denying me even though I've been working on my credit and score 🤷🏾
I have a 41 year old crown and a 35-year-old crown, just getting them replaced. They do last longer if they are done properly and you look after them.
Disgusting greed, you should be struck off if you don't have at least a percentage of NHS patients. If you don't want to help anyone and wish to make money then go and be a lawyer or something.
Thousand thanks for your podcast! I am utterly shocked and SAD that people put themselves through unnecessary cosmetic procedures. Do please keep us informed.
How about also highlighting some of the cases of UK dentist who perform substandard treatments and charge insane amounts of money? A bit of balance is required here!
Are you in Kent?
i'm so sorry this system is as it is. i've found this channel by researching how UDA's work. i'm planning to migrate and waiting the GDC registration to complete right now. but i'm so sorry i've heard the part regarding the different name and special treatment vs complaints. i'm white and i still feel that i'll be bothered by their negative british attitude towards me as a migrant from a shit world country. i've seen them hiking here or at beach resorts. many are very arrogant if you politely engage in small talk or a complex discussion, or they don't speak much or they simply ignore you. at times you can feel their vibe that something's wrong. no wonder this country is plagued with complaints and the defensive dentistry circus. it's going to be very frustrating and psychologically stressful for me, i'm certain. but i don't have a choice as in my country people try the best to avoid going to the dentist except for emergencies, and i'm not making much money. when they do, it's always a negotiation. also, drivers, construction workers, teachers and all state hired workers make more money here.
Bad breath and Acid Reflux almost destroyed my life, I was so depressed to a point that i don't want to live anymore. After countless of trials I was able to get total rid of it bye Dr.Emovon on TH-cam channel...🙏🙏🙏
Hi I am planning to do dental therapist course in university. So my question is after completing the degree then we can apply for Jobs or we can apply for job while doing therapist course. Bit confused .
Your teeth look good, Doc
Prices in UK are crazy it is 5 times more expensive than in France. It is unaffordable. I live in France. You can come in France it is cheaper.
Im dealing with bham dental for the second time new full dentures and the first man i seen aprox 6 yrs ago wos good now im seeing a main member of staff whos very high in her field very nice lady who this time is accompanied by another lady who needed to do another task like making teeth which r not simple my mouth is difficult i gag alot mouth dry alot of other medical issues BUT THEY ARE BRILLIANT calm you dwn play music which helps gives you strategies to help whilst sitting in the chair carnt rate this hospital enough id be totally lost with out the hospital and the people who r working very hard on my dentures THANKYOU SO VERY MUCH ❤❤
You can say the same about the opticians. The government privatising dentistry is the issue, it doesn’t pay for dentist to work for the NHS or take on NHS patients.
You're such a delightful person and a dedicated doctor, you are truly an inspiration Dr Emovon on TH-cam, I'm finally free from bad breath and acid reflux stay blessed sir....😭🙏🙏
Sir how much dental student loans do you have in uk? Plz reply. Thanks a lot.
My dentist just gave me the Invisalign. No questions, i have no idea what their plan was

I lovely new dentist, she’s made my crap teeth look amazing
hello dr for first contract after completeing ORE what do u reccommend, short contracts with mixed practice like 2 years just enough to cover plve period or long contracts with also mixed practice like 5 years which is more stable. what do u recommend.? and second Q if u don't mind what about welcome bonus of the new dentist in the practice , how much is it ? thank u so far
I dont agree or disagree, but i think if you went abroad to get your teeth work done. Then, when they go wrong, dont go to the NHS to fix the problem. Loads of people get their teeth fixed, and a small amount have problems, but i think the rule should be that you go back to the dentist who made the error. Thats what needs to be weighed up.
In my modest opinion it is not necessary to change your teeth if they look in a way that doesn't attract negative attention. Taking care of my teeth is a pleasure actually. Informative video, especially the emphasis on long-term consequences😊
I am finally free from bad breath and white tongue and acid reflux after using your herbal medicine I was completely free from this problem. I'm glad there are people like you who simply want to help other people struggling with the same problems. Your words gave me the courage I needed to hear today to know that it is okay. I can still be myself and now enjoy my life like I’m supposed to. I am blessed to have found you, Dr. Emovon, on TH-cam..👋👋👋
These dentists are actually part of the problem: greed! The pathetic prices they charge force people to put themselves in these vulnerable situations.
My Acid Reflux & Bad breath from stomach that I suffered for 7 years is completely cured thanks to Alternative treatment & gluten diet on Dr.Emovon on TH-cam channel…🌺🌺🌺
I would like to get a volunteer for dentists to work on. But I live in Africa.
Hello. How would I receive free dental treatment if I live outside UK. I need dental treatment for free if possible please. Thank you.
Does UK need dentist? Are there much opportunities for work
His gums look red! He got gum disease needs to see a doctor!
I don't understand the reason for sharpening the teeth...😢😢😢
In order to accommodate a cup (crown). It helps fitting it.
Honestly. I had a root canal on a molar about five years ago. My dentist at the time offered me a crown but I didnt like the idea of having something like that in my mouth so I opted for a filling instead. Never had any issues. Seeing what you have to go through for a crown I feel I made the right decision.
Amen!!! You will be successful in everything
Dental materials are equally expensive😢
