I'm from Canada and my friend from Wuhan used to buy me drinks and DD I always told him I owed him one. After a few years he invited me to his place and told me that he just wants me to accept his gifts because he considered me family. It changed my perspective on how different our lives were.

my friend, i ask that you work on media literacy skills. i spent a good portion of this video arguing in her defense, because, and i quote myself, "I can imagine many reasons as to why someone would not want to pay their parents backs."

i don't really care, but it just is sad that people just don't give anyone the benefit of the doubt anymore. everyone always assumes the worst out of people.

I always offered to pay him back and after a few years of friendship I was chilling with him and he got mad about me always offering to pay him back. He said "you are my bro and I care about you please stop this bullshit and just accept my gifts". He just cared about me more than money. Really good dude I consider him family now.

you're arguing with ghosts. i argued that there are in fact many reasons why she shouldn't pay. i also said that if they were struggling financially, and she didn't want to help their was probably a good reason as to why not.

i personally don't care. i can objectively imagine many reasons I would treat my parents that way, but I imagine not many are able to put themselves in others shoes, which is evident in how everyone treats each other.

ultimately, who cares. people like to project and act like they're so morally superior, meanwhile their lives are in shatters.

@ i have long seen nmp’s personality negatively. he also has a pretty bad superiority complex and his actions towards women are often disgusting. i also don’t like how the girls play along, because it normalizes their behavior to their very young and impressionable audience.

my guy, why do you think it is in quotation marks? could it perhaps be that I am quoting someone? the is and was the general sentiment. i went out of my way to argue that there is in fact several reason as to why someone would not want to repay their parents. you clearly did not watch the video.

Maybe your position should be clear in the thumbnail, and clear in the video instead of spending the first 5 minutes saying, "oh there's reasons people should or shouldn't pay your parents back." "She could be a bad person or she could not." It's so half a$$ed brother.

@ are you insane ? i did three google searches and everything else was forced on my by my fyp. you can have your opinion about something and not care about it. you can also give an objective answer to a question. twitch viewers DO have issues with being parasocial and are very often socially isolated. that is the objective truth, whether you like it or not. you have absolutely no media literacy. my whole video boils down to, “to my understanding, she is wrong, but she still deserves the benefit of the doubt.” especially because she was never given the benefit of the doubt.

twiiter people I mean can you imagine a less pathetic person than a twitter user they dont have life, people being miserable is literally their entertainment

a lot of people are very, very socially isolated and watching the streams is the closest they get to social interactions. this makes them develop a lopsided relationship with the STREAMER to where they consider said STREAMER as a friend, meanwhile the STREAMER has no idea who they are.
