As someone who had one. They are not really dogs. They are partially human and for that reason very difficult to live with but the love they have for you is something you’ll never get over . They are also genetically perfect creatures

It is a poor puppy, because it lost its tail. In Europe it is forbidden to cut tails or ears of dogs since 1990th ☝
They are humane laws that I wish would be adopted in the USA. It's an American Kennel Club standard. It really amounts to a fashion show, paraded around by hunters and competition dog-show enthusiasts. How can a Weimaraner be WHOLE, with its expressive tail chopped off? What a barbaric practice! Mutilation.

The tail has a cut.
The tail is "fashion show", to suit the AKC standard of mutilating these beautiful canines. It is the worst of American culture, to not have their fully-expressive tails. Hundreds of videos of "Weims" in other nations show the full tail, almost always. In America, "Weims" are "stubbies". One far-overplayed mythology "justifying" the tail-chopping barbarity is that they: "whack their tails, splitting them open". That's VERY rare to happen. If it were such a commonality, then why do most "Weims" have their full tails, in every Worldwide nation, but not in the USA? It's because the trendy, standard-setting American Kennel Club (AKC) doesn't run the World's mind-set. Nothing "normal" about a "stub". Leave their tails alone!

Our long ago ancestors (thousands of years!), discovered a litter of beautiful Weimaraners. It is for this reason we have such a good relationship with dogs!
This is a nice mythological tribute attempted toward the Weimaraner breed. Actual fact is that the breed had its start in the Weimar State of Germany, in the 18th Century. Do some research, and you'll find a fascinating genesis that created this extraordinary breed.
