I know she was only trying to interact with him and such, but she knew the risks and the risk was her life. No matter how sweet and gentle he was, he killed three people. I'm not saying she's in the wrong, but I feel like this could have been avoided had she just not gotten so close to him. :'(

No, she was grabbed by her arm, not the ponytail. And we really don't know what caused Tilly to become upset the way he did, we can only assume. Tilly was the only one who knew what he was thinking!
The only full video of the attack is the security footage. The home video that was taken was turned off seconds before the attack. However, it's not something you would want to see. You can read the statement given by the family that recorded the home video. As well, it reveals a big lie the movie Blackfish made. She was pulled in by her ponytail as the witness statement specifically states that Tilikum grabbed her by her head.
