As far as ball handling the comp of Kyrie & AI makes perfect sense. But as far as a overall player i totally agree that Dame would be most similar to AI

Kyrie got more handles but AI quicker

Tyus is literally the missing piece for yall. I dont think a championship will come out of it THIS SEASON but depending on how injuries play out i could see them maybe getting one in the next couple of years… its gonna be tuff for them because they are not built to beat the top teams in the west. They are too top heavy

I don't think the rest of the NBA community understands the impact of a solid point in PHX. This acquisition definitely makes us a contender.

@@ClutchTalkPod I don't know if we're still that top heavy. Especially if Beal comes off the bench. Monte Morris is also a solid point, which means all the PG duties don't fall squarely on Jones but I get what you're saying. Winning it in the first year would be tough. You need that full year, in most cases, to establish good chemistry. Coach Bud is definitely a big piece of the puzzle. He's not shy about hucking it up there from down town, and we have the personnel to be dangerous in that aspect. Also I think people are sleeping on Bol. He's shown improvement, especially in the last few months of the season. He's gonna eat up the glass and spread the floor. He's also kept Wimby in check. Another aspect that people are sleeping on is our owner. Ishbia is that dude. He's making smart moves and correcting errors like a boss. He wants a title, which for the people of Phoenix is a breath of fresh air, unlike (cough cough Colangelo). He'll spend what he needs to push us over the edge.

I agree with the young man. Joe was that guy. If a GM would have put legit all star talent around him during his prime instead of being doubled or tripled teamed at times then the possibilities would have been limitless. Despite that, Joe was better and more clutch than lot of your favorite players.

@@ClutchTalkPod I have watched a lot of basketball over the years but the Warriors were by far the best shooting team I have ever saw…Klay put up 50 in 3 quarters and has more rings…Ray is great as well but I have seen Klay win more 🤷🏾‍♂️…both have great mechanics though

Catch and shoot I would go Klay Thompson. But as a overall player I would take Ray. We cannot forget about those young Ray Milwaukee Bucks days… he legit was a slasher and then throughout the course of his career turned into one of the greatest shooters of all time

Not true. Joe was a complete scorer, pass, rebound and defend. Also can play point guard and run offensive schemes. Melo is a good scorer and rebounder.

@@francissmith-xx9sy Melo was a way better back to the basket player. Better at getting to his spots at the 3. All the dribbling is cool but Melo punished ppl a complete 5-6 level scorer.

I think Melo could score in more ways than Joe Johnson could but i dont think Melo had a more complete game than Joe. I also watched both of their careers & i saw Joe Johnson defend great players, & orchestrating an offense
