I had a blast!!! Finished 15th in my class and one of 6 women racing! I was not able to wear a GoPro …Redbull rules. I’d love to go back and do it again!

Good eye! I agree and actually just changed up my rear shock - I could feel it kick all the time, make clicker adjustments but it wasn’t till I put this new one on this week that I was like dayyuummm …. I feel more stable now.

@@brapco what shock did you go with?

@@billypulsipher7313 MX national shock.... lucky inserts in the forks.

@@brapco wife and I run the national, takes about 30 hours for it to break in, shock is phenomenal, good job.

Thanks! :) I was 3rd in ladies B last year. Not sure what my overall was. This year I am racing A class. Are you racing both days? I hope we run this test again, I’m on a 300xc this year and would love to see a side by side comparison. I think I’ll be faster this year …bike and practice. (I hope)

My fist race ever was Dry Lake Sprint and I took 1st in 40C. Feeling ambitious by competing in Open B for Shady Burro. Mainly just want the full course for both days with a secondary goal of not being a road block for faster riders 😇 I hope they run at least the same route. Im a noob, but I could see them running the same route and just making different segments as test sections. Any words of wisdom or lessons learned that you'd be willing to share? Theoretically speaking that I can run the equivalent pace as you. ANY adviceis better than no advice?! Bring a sandwich, should have time to stop this many times for this amount of time, bring more than 100ozs of water, only bring goo packets to replenish nutrients ect .. .

@@supertrooperandstreetking nice! It will clearly be way different than Dry Lake! Pack one pair of extra gloves (water crossings) - if rain is in the forecast pack a jacket- I fill my regular uswe pack with water - and just know yourself for food, I try and have a bite of something after each test so I don’t crash. I know I can’t come back from that. Hammer nutrition gel, cliff bar, apple, nuts…. Pb&J, stuff like that. But cut up and bite size. Sit and drink water on transfers if time allows. Oh and do your math the night before…. They will give you a sheet at check it. You will have to be to certain check at certain times. Match based on what row you start, I wrote it down on duct tape and attach to my fender then you can be confident you’re not rushing when you don’t need to be, or slacking when you should be rushing :) I’ll be around if you see me come say hi and I can chat with ya.

Wait which on were you faster on? The 300?

I was faster on the 300 and switched to it for the final round of the National enduro series where I won the last round over Charlie Mullins to take the championship! I will always have a soft place in my heart for a 300 after that!
