Don't work on mine!
I am confused are they bifocals or progressive lenses?
I have a 2019 escape titanium with the 2.0 engine and recently the car stalled when stop start was activated and I had to put it in park and restart it. Since turning that off I have had no issues with stalling but I’m having some weird electrical things happening. The battery tests good with a multimeter when off and running. However I started monitoring live data and have observed control module voltage sometimes bouncing around and even spiking momentarily to 50V and dipping to 0.007V. It does not always do this. I have no warning lights or codes. Also, I have seen coolant temperature spike to 150C momentarily but it’s not really getting that hot. I have also had the stereo restart and dash lights go off for a bit and come back on and the charge port turn off. A few weeks prior I had the car intermittently buck when accelerating. Since I disconnected the battery overnight and reconnected it I have not had that buck happen. From research I think my issue might be with one of these high current fuses. I think when I removed the battery cover I probably moved that plate a bit that corrected some of the issues like the bucking but I still have these other gremlins because there’s a fuse issue. I’m going to use a multimeter to test input and output voltage on each fuse. Do you think this would be a good starting point and that a faulty fuse could be the issue? The other thing it could be is a bad engine ground but seeing the amount of issues with these fuses is making me think this is the issue. Usually it’s the far right red one that’s causing start issues but I think any of them could become a problem with this design.
It’s hard to say where to start. Loose wire, bad wire, grounding out wire but it sounds like you have good grasp of what to look for. just start a check list of things to cross off till you find the issue.
@@diawithraul thanks for your reply! I think it’s that 50A fuse and I’m hoping I’m right. I saw the electrical schematic showing it also powers the body control module. And the body control module communicates with other modules including the PCM. So if there’s a voltage drop happening with that then it could be creating the issues I’m seeing. My fuse may be affected in such a way that it’s not causing me starting issues but these other problems instead. I’m going to buy the fuse and replace it regardless because there are many people who had their car die while driving it because of that fuse and it was reported that the new fuse design from Ford is different meaning Ford is aware of the problem. Since I will have it apart I might as well replace it even if it tests ok.
this one helped more than others...thanks. The kohler paper inststructions with these parts SUCK!
Thank you, I appreciate you watching
Thx I was trying to make food in the morning without making noise
Some days are good, some days are bad...
Just want to put this out there for Ford Escape and other ford owners that use this same type of battery distribution panel. There are 6-8 fuses in this panel. These fuses do fail over time. They are not fully open but they become intermittent and cause issues like no crank / no start and other odd electrical issues. The right most fuse is a 50A and is usually the first to fail.
Thank you for the added information, I’m sure it will help many people out including myself if things start going out on my daughter’s ford
Fukin LIARRRR=!!!!!!!¡
Ya that's just automatically start my microwave to cook for 2 mins....😂😂😂
Ha, I was kind of happy to see you battling that little set screw in the handle as well. By far, that was the worst part of my struggle with this thing.
How are ur glasses doing now?
The Kohler shower valve in our bathroom is quite different and so far not covered here on youtube. It is a "shower only" type valve similar to Kohler part # K-8304-KS. There is no tub/bath faucet. It is only 5 years old and leaking through the shower head.
Sometimes if it is a shower only valve it would use the same parts
The disassembly of the K-8304 valve is quite different. There are 2 check valves (part #1229168) on the left and right which obstruct the removal of the cartridge (part #GP800881). @@diawithraul
@@jcg0324 I’m stumped. I would need to see it to help
You can see it. Just google Kohler K-8304-KS. The plastic from the 2 adjacent check valves is blocking the cartridge removal.@@diawithraul
Different microwaves have different buttons, but some microwaves don't have an option to mute
Yeah
If you have Express Cook, and pressing 2 starts the microwave, try holding either the 8 or 0 buttons.
Get rid of that nasty carpet and put in nice, clean flooring. Carpets are gross.
Nice voiceover and nice editing, video moves along well and helped me a lot, thank you!
My issue: ONLY windshield wiper motors stopped working -- and unpredictably, intermittent rear wiper wipers work in "off" position, but work well otherwise -- after I replaced leaking battery. (106k mi on 2016 Escape SE, 1.6L turbo engine replaced at 25K miles.) Mechanic friend says possibly heat or other damage to negative cable area that plugs into a plastic connector that leads (he says) to control wiper motors and other parts. Going to remove, inspect it. Your take? Should I inspect those wires to/from positive cable you replaced in the video?
I will check the negative connection to frame too.
Unbelieiveably thorough, great work.
Hallo! Grill full black is common and compatible with facelift 2009-11
My car doesn't have this problem (not yet at least) so I'll keep this trick in mind. Another alternative I thought of is to use pressurized air to blow out the buildup from the top to the bottom.
will blow the hose off the connector then you have to drop the headliner to reconnect.
what part # is it
Mine doesn’t work all numbers are express cook so it’ll start right away
thank you so much
It looks as if you didn’t get an anti reflective coating on your bifocals. I know we are all different but I find that without the coating they feel uncomfortable to me. Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺.

Mines stuck in the housing like an sob! Looking for some type of puller for this valve style...
I hope you were able to free it, the most I’ve had to do was grab some pliers to wiggle it free
@@diawithraul Yes, finally thanks! Used a small pry tool on the ears one by one until a firm wiggle finally popped it out. One critical note: after replacing the cartridge and the the valve - it still dripped! Found a suggestion on the web to gob all the seals with "Plumbers Grease" instead of just silicone. What I found at ACE was called waterproof grease. Its clear like silicone but a bit pastier and is for plumbing use (valve stems etc.). No more drips for the last three days : ). I do hate when such simple sounding things become such an adventure! Thanks again for sharing - and the reply!
There must be an essier way just to get the grill off?
Normally there are 4 drains, 2 front, 2 rear of the sunroof.
Also, does not work on a lot of Frigidaires because it automatically starts cooking for two minutes
What type of microwave do you people have because mine doesn't work using the #2 button I have a Panasonic microwave and I keep seeing the same thing in every video I've watched and it doesn't work 🤨🤔
Unfortunately not all microwaves have this function, my RV trailer microwave doesn’t silent
Will this cause the car to stop running also? I had the issue posted below where I had to wiggle wire on post connection to get it to start.. but it would stay running.. now it shuts off while driving it's been very dangerous stranding me on the road last 2 days. Hopefully you can respond, I had the car towed and no one can figure out why it's doing this.
Absolutely, wires get corroded all the time causing electrical issues and without a good ground nothing will work.
Mine doesn't have a door, but it still works like a champ. I keep it in the unit I rent to my brother in law. He has no business procreating.
Hello, I would like to replace the whole cartridge, i have the same as yours, can you help me with the model number. Thank you!

@syviv Well, all the convicts that cross my desk, agree on one thing. All ChoMo's gauge and all guys that gauge are ChoMo's. Apparently, it's a thing.
Samething I'm 41. Never had an issue with my sight. Now i have to hold things far away to read. I bought reading glasses but decided to go to the eye doctor and get bifocals as well.
The handle looked very loose before you put the allen key on it. How did it not leak water behind the handle??
I have an Emerson & that action only turns it on to cook for 2 min. 🤷

What model number
The cover on the side of the battery tray just pops right off?
I believe there is a tab at the top but you have to release the wire harness tabs also before popping it off
I tried to do this job last night for hours must have had it in-and-out a dozen times triple checked all the Orings and it still leaks any ideas?.
Did you check the o rings for any rips? That’s what happened to mine, the thin o ring tore causing mine to leak. Feel free to reach out to me through any of my social media DM’s for a faster response. I would love to help you out
@@diawithraul thank you for the reply. Turned out to be the balancer. Put in a new one and no leaks.
Have you had any issues with it since? That little red wire is the positive wire for the battery’s current sensor (on the negative terminal) so it’s supposed to be connected as close to the post as possible, but I really can’t see an issue with it as long as the main cable and terminations are in good condition…
Nope, no issues since this video. Thank you for that information and for watching
That was awesome to watch! You can tell you really take pride in your work too. As you should!!! I have been renting my townhouse for 11 years and no plans to move ever. I found out i totally by accident moved into the exact same place my aunt and uncle and cousin Patti lived in about 37 years before I moved in (they were the first tenants after the building was built) and while they were living here my parents and my sister and I were in town for my mom's sister's wedding and my parents decided to get married too and just had a little JP wedding here in this place. So i have a few pictures fron that day you can hold up and see exactly where they were but its 70's furniture and shag carpet lol. I literally had no idea until 3½ or 4 months after i moved in when i brought my week old baby boy to see my aunt at her current house and she started quizzing me on what way my stairs go when I open the door and if my neighbors had stairs when they open their door or if that's their main floor. A couple weeks later her and my other aunt on my dad's side came to visit me and my aunt was in complete shock and said its the exact same unit. Just crazy. So I told the rental company I'm never ever moving lol. I feel like i was meant to be here. And now I can totally confirm both of my parents have been here in spirit since then as well. My mom at least once and my dad at least twice plus I also had one of those visit dreams with him finally! Well in January 2021 they were kind enough to rip out all the carpet in the entire place and put in vinyl plank flooring and they also gutted my kitchen and made me a new one. That was rough living here while it was going on but i wasn't passing up that opportunity...my son stayedat his dad's for 6 days and my boyfriend and I were busy moving everything from one room to another and back again so they could do the floors and I had no kitchen counters for 2 weeks and no hot water in the kitchen that entire time either. I made a makeshift counter anc got used to boiling water to do dishes. Then they came to install the new countertop and realized somebody goofed on the measurements so then i ended up with no water at all for a couple more days. Oh well. It was worth it. I need to ask them now if I'm the one responsible for painting my place since I've been here so long and I'm still staying but it needs to be done big time. And i don't suppose you have a video showing how to fix hollow core doors eh? Lol. My son had quite the emotional outbursts for a couple years and I've got 8 good sized holes altogether between the 2 bedroom doors that he's kicked or punched. And obviously those I know I'm responsible for fixing or paying someone to do the repairs. After watching a few videos so far I'm almost thinking it woukd be cheaper to buy 2 new doors lmao
What an amazing story of how your place has so much history. As for the doors I don’t have any videos on how to repair them but if you do plan to stay a long time I would make the investment to get solid doors, just my opinion though.
If you have a double sink but no garbage disposal what would you suggest? Just plugging one side and plunging the other??
Yes plug the side furthest from the p trap and use a plunger and focus more on the pulling up motion NOT pushing down. Hope this helps
@@diawithraul I wouldn't have paid attention to which side to do it on if you didn't mention the part about furthest from that trap thingy. Thank you.
