Does the /06 model use same gaskets as /00 model?

We live in times when car manufacturers require you to use authorized service, even for battery replacement. Of course, they charge a lot for it. And here you go. 15 minutes and hatch release switch for pennies.

Excellent video! Very easy to follow. I had the exact same problem. I temporarily removed the damaged rubber thing and just taped over it. It works but I still ordered the replacement part. It cost me 27 EUR with postage. Saved a lot of money. Thanks for posting.

I have jammed the latch by closing the hatch with a bag strap 8n the way. Last time I had to wreck the bag but this is a great bag. Is there any way to save it? The emergency switch doesn't release it.

I have a 2014 Kia Rio ex Hatch and this is the exact problem I've had

Thanks! I got the left door seal installed on my LG LFC24770ST/02 fridge. It was pretty easy EXCEPT for the three wires at the center hinge, which are causing concern. All three wires are cut or broken or torn - two red, one green-yellow. To me, they appear to be uniformly cut on a diagonal. I had seen a couple of comments here about the wires at center hinge. I felt no resistance when I gently lifted the flipper ("mullion") after releasing the spring and removing the three plastic caps. Then I saw the un-connected wires. I'm not used to seeing severed wires on any kind of machine (and no tape on bare wire tips) -- unless it's my own doing! I believe these wires can connect to a heater that is designed to keep the seal soft and prevent sweating -- but I don't know if my model actually has the heater. At least one comment here refers to an LG that has the wires, but says they don't connect to anything on some models. I hope that's the case for my fridge too. These are pretty stout wires, maybe 16 gauge, and I can't imagine three of them would break off with no resistance at all. I just taped over the wires on the fridge side and installed the new seal w/o connecting anything. If anybody knows whether LG LFC24770ST/02 has a flipper-heater, I'd love to know.
