I’m imagining the wolf’s old pack finding out that he made friends with a rabbit and are so disgusted that they try to hunt the rabbit down. And as the wolf is fighting against his former pack, he calls out to the rabbit that he will protect him. The rabbit becomes brave and fights back against the bad wolves until they’re all defeated. The rabbit looks down on his own claws covered in blood and then looks up to the wolf. He says “I guess we’re both wolves now”. The two embrace each other and the rabbit learns to hunt and fight to protect his new friend, leaving behind the life of a prey animal, and accepting his new life as a predator. Not just for himself, but also for the wolf.

I know everyone is saying they prefer the softer tones of the original, but I think the hardcore breakdown in the bridge works. Going by the lyrics, it's a wolf's struggle with its animalistic instincts, and the constant pressure of holding it back causes it to explode. Ultimately, the wolf gives into its primal urges and the final verse is coming down from that high and realizing what it had done. I think its a nice touch, but if you don't, that's completely cool too.

Someone get Johnathon Young. But Caleb Hyles would have that "softer" voice but with metal. Hmm. I'd be happy with either or 😆

@@crumbledcookie27apocalyptica, I can't spell it, use electric cello. They have a classical album. Although classical music sometimes classify as metal without distortion so I suppose it really depends on what you mean. Many bands incorporate them both. Tho an unusual genre mix that isn't classical but more ballroom, Diablo Swing Orchestra comes to mind.

why did i not know that someone use this song
At first, I heared that song in 2016 or 2017 in short animation, i really wanted to know that music's name to listen to full song... it's been years... and I found it.. I accidentally found it! I really love this music... when I found it, that starting of music was familiar, so familiar.. when I was thinking so much, I was like: this song was starting with running wolf... then I searched up for "wolf and rabbit animation" and I found it! It was actually the song I was looking for years! I dont know how to explain the feeling when I found this song, at last I heared it maybe 4 or 5 years ago! I love this song! it somehow reminds me of my village in cold winter, with so much snow around... I have to listen to this when I'll be in my village in winter... with so much snow around... and know how it really feels.
