That's a good point. Why don't black people set up stores, restaurants, etc in their own communities? There's plenty of money available and it's even easier to get a business loan if a minority or female. There's all kinds of government programs that prioritize lending to minorities and women. I'm in the lending business so I know. No one is turning down a loan because of the color of your skin. That hasn't happened in a long time. Loan officers get paid based on a loan closing and it doesn't matter what color you are. So why aren't black people setting up their own stores in their own communities? And why aren't they pressuring the local mayor and police chief to have black police officers who are from their own community? Why are they always blaming white people? Last I checked the city of Chicago had a black mayor.
