with the rack being that low does your awning poles for the front facing window hit the roof of the jeep
I can't use the awning polls on either side front hits the roof back hits the awning I have no yet found a work around for this situation I will, I may have to design a different shaped poll stay tuned for the solution
Have you tried closing it with bedding inside? Sleeping bag and a pillow or two?
I have not tried that yet but will try it this weekend. I will let you know how it works out.
OK so I was able to close it with the extra mattress inside so I think if you have the standard mattress and bedding it should close. Nice video. I just picked up the new topoak wedge style tent, Stellar. It was between the vision and that. I'm still divided between the two. I can't use my soft top on the JTR with the Stellar, but I needed to mount my bathroom awing on the rtt. Can't do that with the Vision. I'm now on the hunt for a hardtop lol.
Lol that is why I got the vision and mounted it the way I did so I can still use my top but I lose some space in the bed also can't use the side awnings on the two windows. So will see how it goes. Guess it is a give and take
What kind of lift is that? Would love to be able to mount/remove it myself
Hi the lift is called a hoist-a-cart it worked pretty good for the tent but if you have a wrangler it is really good

Sorry for the delay. I actually was camping this weekend. Testing out the tent. I really like it. The outside dimensions are 63"×47"×10.5". Mattress is 80"×56"×2". I have added a second mattress, which has made a huge difference in comfort.
@ thank you for checking. Topoak has the dimensions specified as 63" × 43" × 10" but I figured that 43” wide was not correct.
Good video. I also went with the Badland Apex 12k winch on my Wrangler and it's been great. I haven't really needed to use it yet but nice to have it for when that time comes.

no i did not mt jeep does not stand for long periods of time so i feel it is not necessary for me
Well, that convinced me that I can do the trail, but I am not willing to destroy the Jeep doing so.
It really all buffed out but I wont do Ocala again there are plenty of fun trails that wont damage your vehicle elsewhere.

Oracle should just go into business with jeep at this point. it looks 100x better. I'm also liking the Combat off-road taillights for the Gladiator.

Tell me a few things about that mini camper
I rented it from Rv share. I was a very basic teardrop style. If I were to get one for myself I would get something more offroad capable. Definitely way better than a tent
I am 6'2" and fit very comfortably but if you look into one definitely need to lay down in it to see if it works for you
