Monsta being doing this a long time but I disagree. If you are about lyricism then yes every song is about being lyrical it’s more so a matter of how you apply your lyricism to each song. I never took Snoop as being a lyricist. I just thought he put out one of the greatest albums ever by giving us lyrics but more just having a dope style that we really haven’t seen before Doggystyle. But for me this album is not something I’m replaying no hate just personal preference

🎶🎶🎶🎶 I watched your review before viewing the movie and listening to the project. I’ve n Now done both. Agree, the movie is 👌🏾🔥🔥🔥 The album I’ve only listened to once so need to take in more but love so far about half of it. With more listens it will certainly grow on me. Was the same with Snoop’s first album. Slightly underwhelming when I first listened believe it or not then the whole album grew on me over time and I could not stop listening to it. Perhaps because The Chronic was such a bar raiser so I was expecting something of a similar vein. Agree with your review about Gun n Smoke being a Dope song. Still 50/50 (no pun intended) as which verse I like the best. Favourite joint of the project so far though. Also love the Winners Circle ⭕️ video and song. Keep the great content coming!! Fire as always 👌🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
