Graphics Glitch on Apple MacBook Pro TouchBar 2016

So this just happened on my brand new Apple MacBook Pro TouchBar. Alongside a faulty Z-key on the keyboard, which does not feel the same way as the other keys, I must conclude that this new line of MacBook Pros is a ridiculous upgrade. I should have kept my old one, which was significantly faster than this new model. Wauw. Nice one Apple :-(

Nice Board, for me im not a fan of felt and sawn in letter points as they tend to catch the checkers.
The points are inlay not sewn in. So they do not catch the checkers at all.

One thing I find out about this clock (unless I'm missing something), the only way to reset it to play another game is to turn it OFF then ON. There doesn't seem any button to hit to reset the time control for the next game. Am I missing something?

The markings on the black chequers are all identical, for me, thats's a negative.
Do you see them as identical ? I see some minor variations, suggesting they come from the same pour.

@@ppt_eal433 Right, except backgammon checkers are not in any way ‘natural materials.’ I get your drift, though. I have an FTH-Backgammon board heading my way soon, and I’ll be posting an unboxing video in the next week or so. I have no idea what checkers Fazil is sending me!
@@jjmckenna - You're correct of course Justin. I just meant that some checkers are all different and therefore look more like natural onyx.
nice board but if you are on a tighter budget i recommend "Crisloid' boards in the USA OR 'Wycliff Brothers' in the UK, superb boards for under $300. Obviously, if you have more money than sense, then gert a Geoffrey Parker board for £3000+
A few things, I like the scoreboard. I hope at the time I'm viewing this it's still available. I question reviewing a board and then showing a cube and dice that were purchased separately and not those that came with the board. I think the metal corners of this board are going to scratch your table.

I have bought one. It's easy to operate but when time runs out there's no way to go back to a new game without having to turn it off. Can someone explain that to me, please? He comprado uno. Es fácil de operar pero cuando el tiempo se agota no hay una forma de reiniciar un juego sin tener que apagarlo y volver a prender. No me parece que debe ser así. El botón no soporta tantas pulsaciones (Prender y apagar, prender y apagar...). El manual no dice cómo hacerlo.

I've played on these. An overall luxury board, but the bar is narrow. It should be larger.
yeah it's got a very nice feel to it. I really love my FTH board. I sold the green one, but I have a smaller blue one which I'll never sell. As for the size of the bar, I think it's perfect. Talking about a bar that's too narrow, you should look at the P-40 board. That's so narrow that they had to provide an "extender" clip-on to make it wider, hehe!
@@wilsonsemilio1276 Hi Wilson, why did you sell this board? I ask because I’m considering purchasing one of FTH’s titan boards. One critique I heard is the boards become so large they’re hard to reach across. Did you experience this? Thank you for posting this video.

Why do backgammon people always try to sell stuff in their videos?
I don't know, do they? Personally I spent a lot of time developing a scoreboard for backgammon players, so obviously I want to sell it. Makes perfect sense to do some advertising in a backgammon related video.

A scoreboard and chess clock timer I already have it know the both stuff
Newer versions have a time bonus setting as well. The rubber feet were a bit slippery, so I changed them, and also added some extra weight inside the case to keep the clock better in place. Can't get anything comparable for the price, that's for sure.
What did you use as weight?

So Gammonstuff.com sells FTH boards. Gammonvillage.com sells Freistadtler boards. I'm wondering are the Freistadtler boards FTH boards but he had to sell them under a different name? They look identical and both made in Germany.

What is the size of the board? What is the size of the checkers? What was the price? Was this custom made for you? How long did delivery take?

I have bought a few of these. At this price point, for backgammon they are unbeatable, supporting simple delay 12/2 or whatever you like. If LEAP would just make a v2 option with coloured backlit LEDs ike the ZMart ZMF-II, rather than the less readable LCDs of the current version (see 3:24 ) , they would be perfect.

Hi I am in the Brighton BG league, Just bought this timer, but can't seem to get the delay setting to come up. I have cycled through the settings, but only gets to volume. Any ideas please
Its ok I figured it out. I had to take the battery out and start again. My counter did count up, but now it counts down, and that was due to taking out the battery, starting again, and cycling through all settings.
Is this clock better than thetouch sensitive in your opinion? What about the strenth in a time rush?

I still prefer my ZMF-II Digital Chess Clock, mainly because the screen is backlit and because the overall build quality is way better.

I honestly don't remember. I should have included that in the video. But I'm sure you can find the answer on Google or in the clock manual?

It has delay. No increment, I think. So time will not be added.
