Beautiful description of what I believe heaven will be like. Sonya and family does awesome job. Love them. I have requested this to be sung at my funeral by them.

I can't decide if I love the record or live best. His voice was truly inspired of God. And we can say Kenny is in Heaven, but so hard to call him gone, even after all these years. How hard it must have been to his brothers and sister to say, "call him gone". But we know Kenny now in Paradise with Jesus. That family so precious gifted of God. I only would have loved to have seen them in concert but so grateful for the playlist I have built of their music that has uplifted in many hours. Praise the Lord!!!!

This Southern Gospel was from a glorious era when Gospel Sings were all through the Southeast on Friday & Saturday nights. I played drums in a few Gospel Quartets during the early to mid- 70's: Christian Crusaders, The Believers, Gospel Harmonists to name them. We traveled all through the Southeast/deep South playing in churches, school gyms, auditoriums etc with other Gospel groups on the line up: Thrasher Brothers etc What a time it was for Southern Gospel music!!!

First gospel album I ever bought

Great song, and great job by my favorite group the Hinsons!!!!!!

I saw them have a lot of worldly fame. Lol. But I loved and still love Vestal. 20 years, 2004 since she passed. I still have one of her handkerchiefs that she signed for me many many years ago. I was a solo professional gospel artist for a decade. I recorded 8 albums and literally traveled the country and the world. But I had to step away from it and now it makes sense why. I have learned so much since those times that I went out and sang... sometimes doing 200 dates a year. But I ended up studying comparative religions and all kinds of philosophy and ancient history and I can honestly say today that I have a wonderfully more realistic view of who "God" is then I ever did before back in those times. I had to leave to learn. And boy, did I ever! Organized religion in all of its various forms seems like it always turns out to be very toxic and a lot of people never learn and get to where they need to go in life because they get stuck. And thank goodness I never got stuck. Miss ya, Vestal.

Amen what a day to see my lord Jesus Christ holding his arms with those nail scared hands I'm gonna hold those hands and feet and wash them with my tears and I'll meet my brother, uncle, grandfather, and all the saints of old. I was a drug addict for over 14 years and now I'm preaching God's word. We need the Lord these days but people keep turning their backs on him.
