I really hate how hard it is to get Blue Roses lol. Purple Pansies? No sweat, the guide I followed worked perfectly. Green Mums? I got them on ACCIDENT. Blue Roses? Half convinced I'm never going to get them even if I follow any of the five known methods that absolutely work. The only other flower that's given me this much grief is purple windflowers 🙃

This guide is good for getting multiple blues. This is because you have a 25% chance (during offspring) to get blue roses, so it's just like getting black roses technically (after hybrid 2 red roses).

I got my first blue rose using this method, thank you! I got it early in step 3. started on 9th, got it on the 28th. Total 20 days. For step 1, I used 11 rows of 5x1. For step 2, I used 13 rows of 5x1. The 2nd step rarely produces red roses and there were several days where it didn't produce any red rose.

I got my first blue rose on day 11 by myself with the beautiful town ordinance. I think it’s because this method scales so well. Mind you I had roughly 105~ breeding pairs on step 2, so I was able to have 11 step 3 reds breeding on day 10, that spawned a blue and black rose on day 11. Hex hole layout watering myself. Had this island since launch day so this was one of my last goals :) besides the golden shovel and redd’s art… good luck to everyone breeding your own blue roses!!

Step 3 with the white and purple to get purple isn't giving me jack diddly...🥺I time traveled day by day watering and goin to the next day for 30 days. Not a single one...what am I doing wrong? Should I time travel more than one day at a time maybe?

I stack in somthing.... in the test. How i do it? It is seeded yellow roses? Or seed yellow roses? Becuse its geting to me a white roses all the time

I will begin this tonight and record my progress. (I do not time travel) Edit: took me a while to figure out which vid I watched- but since the posting of this comment to 11-21-22 I finally have made it to the final two reds before blue. Awaiting final rose.

I got the blue roses in Animal Crossing New Leaf using the same method!!! Its even easier, becaurse you can water 6 flowers giving 3 offsprings per day, and watered single flowers cant reproduce themselves. But you need to output the flowers on the beach, in ANNL flowers can reproduce groving on sand. If you output them on the grass, there is the small chance, that the villager plants purebred red/white roses next to your "hybrid" red/white roses and you dont notice it and the the whole chain will be broken. All hybriding steps are totally same, but at the end the chance to get blue roses from "perfect-hybrid red roses" was defenitely lower, then 25%, 5-15% i guess.

It's worth noting if you get the purple rose to breed with the seed red instead of the seed white (purple= 2xseed white) you can get the needed 1010 red rose 50% of the time, with the other 50% being the pink. I'd prefer to do this over test-breeding reds honestly- it might take an extra step but imo it's making things less invisible and awkward with two variants of reds in the offspring's gene pool. There's enough of that (but with orange and black too) in the last step as it is ahaha

I lost interest in blue roses their not worth my time

I can't believe it, I just got my first blue rose after months of trying so many different things. This guide is seriously the real deal. I got the blue rose while barely getting into step 3 (I only had 10 red roses in the layout so far). I think it only took about a month for me to get it as well and I was doing it completely solo. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

About the hybrid roses 🌹 in the beginning of the video, it’s not a 50% chance for them to even spawn it’s actually a 12.5% chance so the method you’re using is better in the long run and I with many other people are thankful that you clarified deeply about this topic Stay safe!

What does "clutch" mean now?

So I got to the part where I breed the perfect whites with the hybrid 1 reds, but because of their spawn rate I was getting H1Reds WAY faster than I was getting PWhites so I started shoving them all in a field to the side in a grid layout. That ended up getting me my blue. By the time the blue has spawned I only had a single orange rose. I think because the spawn rates for the H1Reds is so much higher than for the orange, you'll end up with a field of them before ever getting the H2Red. If you have a massive field full of H1Reds then your chances for a blue are way higher.
