Diamonds Athuruga Aug 2023
Please enjoy this short video of our trip to Diamonds Athuruga Maldives.
It was an incredible 2 week stay and we absolutely loved the beautiful island and stunning marine life!
All staff on the island was friendly and went out of their way to make us feel special and enjoy the celebration of our wedding anniversary and my birthday. It was especially wonderful to have access to the two Marine Biologists on the island from whom we learned a great deal.
Can't wait to go back!
Equipment used was a Canon EOS R7 with various lenses. On land was mostly with a Canon EF100-400 L ii, and underwater footage was shot with a Canon EF17-40 L.
This in turn was housed in a GDome XL WITH dome port which worked extraordinary well.
Aerial footage was shot with a DJI Mavic 2 Pro.

Thank you Brett, your product is really top notch!!!
Hi, congratulations on the beautiful video, I would like to ask you what materials you used to make it
Hi @bob-jb8eh. Thank you for the kind comment, it is much appreciated. The drone footage was shot on a DJI Mavic 2 Pro and the underwater footage was shot with a Canon R7 and EF 17-40mm L F4 lens. The camera was inside a GDome XL housing, which is a universal housing for DSLR and mirrorless cameras and worked really well. As this was my first time shooting underwater I made a lot of mistakes, so the footage is a bit shaky, but I suppose it's all part of the learning process.
