I wear pants and short sleeve but when it gets to hot I wear separate sleeves 💪🏽. My generador & pressure washer gets to hot, meaning they got overheat. Sometimes even if you want to work, your equipment won’t let you work.

Why does no one wear dri-fit material long sleeves and breathable pants to protect there skin from the sun? I detail in the Coachella Valley where temperatures reach up to 124 degrees F right now. I wish i had the IE/LA weather 😆

I was with you until you said $600 for a TWO step. Your ONE step should’ve been $600 and the two step $1000. The truck would’ve been fine with the one step. That customer didn’t see the value of your work. Next time be more proactive about discussing the value of the work and what goes into it (try to avoid going into a detailing deep dive people don’t care about fancy detailing terminology. They just want to understand what you’re about to do for them in a easy to understand way). Don’t beat yourself up about it. This is a learning experience. Your better off finding someone who appreciates the time and effort it takes to do this job

Agree with everyone else on here bro. Paint condition is bad that good old GM black paint . Best option 1 step polish enhance the paint with a paint protection 1 or 2 year for the $600 bucks or a 5 year coating for $900

For a truck that old they probably don’t wanna spend that money. I woulda offered him 2 prices. The $600 was a bit low but fair. My second price woulda been $450 for a one step plus a 1 year protection/sealant ceramic etc. these prices should not include interior since a paint enchantment Gona take you 4-6 hours.

Tbh I wouldn’t even touch that bro, that paint looks horrible, if there is no coat probably would look the same in couple months

For an old truck with a trashed paint I wouldn't even waste my time with a paint correction especially if you aren't going to coat it. Sell them on a paint enhancement instead will definitely make a difference in appearance.

That’s a good price I rather do that and fix the paint on that truck then be in debt with a 80k truck that won’t last him like that Silverado

Yea 600 minimum cuz that paint was trashed and looks like an older non garaged vehicle that wont have much clear left to work with.

Instead of bug off try dark fury by superior products at oreilys, it’s better than brake buster for wheels tires and bugs also a lot cheaper, as well as formula 4 spray wax for drying aid
