What a venue, what a race - that sand...
Temperatures topping 30ish in the day and down to around 20 at night, just another obstacle that mudders had to deal with.
For those that don't know Worlds Toughest Mudder, it is the pinnacle of @ToughMudder racing - with participants having up to 25 and a half hours to complete as manty 5 mile laps as they can. The Men's winner completed 115 miles, whilst the Women's winner completed 95 miles within the time limit!
Footage was from the start and then all obstacles taken from my final lap at around 10am on Sunday morning.
Well done to everyone completing and we hope to see you in the UK for Worlds Toughest Mudder 2025 (look out for some of my videos from Tough Mudder Midlands - the venue for WTM25)

WOWOWOWOWOW What a course and finale to the @toughmudder UK season. Whilst the North West course is the muddiest, nothing prepared anyone with the amount of rain falling the week before, making a very wet and boggy course - Swamp stomp was moved, a lot more puddles and the course was muddy very early on. What a race! Vinni and I took on the Perevil 33 (33 mile / 55km) which was the shortest of the three races on offer that weekend (50 mile and 100 mile routes!) I love the double header weekend of Spartan and Tough Mudder at the South West venue (Badminton). Its great to mix up the obstacles and the course for both days. This was my first one and it was hard. Ain't gonna lie, i hated it but was a great feeling of accomplishment when i went to bed. the conditions on the ground made it so so much harder, slipping everywhere and no grip.
The mud throughout the course made it really tough running. Well done on your first and honestly, they're a bit "easier" and more fun when it's drier!

How did you find it?
Great videos, how flat is the course? I heard the hills are mainly just the first 3k? Then flat after that?
The 10km could be described as undulating... Downhill around 2km (of course translates to a long uphill around8km) and there's an uphill around the 5km ish mark.

I'm doing the 15k event in Skipton on the 27th, my first ever tough mudder. What kind of footwear do you recommend???
Any sort of trail shoe is fine. If you won't have trail shoes, then just go with any old pair of running shoes. The weather so far has been good, so I doubt the course is too muddy...
