Links and or names for the rollers and jacks used?
What's the advantage of placing this shed up against the house? I think doing it this way the rain and moisture will find it's way between the two structures probably affecting the side of the house and the floor of the shed. Isn't is safer to have couple of feet of separation?
No gutters? 😱🚣♂️
please, please put some flashing up against the house before you put the shingles down😱👉🏾
Wow❤ it's Soo cool and awesome
Un detalle es que los clavos que quedan de fuera se exponen al óxido, que arreglen su pistola y que haga su trabajo 😮
Great job from the workers.
How do you prevent water intrusion on the sides and top against the wall? What material do you use? I've never built a shed but I'm going to give it a shot with my son to save $$.
nice job
Looks great
Thanks! We love how it turned out.
11:46 I like how you guys place the cut side up so the elements can seep into the material you didn’t deal with paint. Because you’re lazy. That wand the first time you did this. You guys are rookies and one can tell by all the new Carhartt gear you’re all wearing.
We appreciate all comments. Thanks for watching.
I need to know prices, material, and labor or how much for everything for a customer
Hmmm I dont think it leans to it or away from it. So I think that makes it an upright shed ;o)
Beautiful ! I would have poured some concrete under it before building on top of it.
Thank you. A concrete slab is a nice touch.
I had the same idea until I checked the code here in California. Its a violation here because by code it needs about 3-5 ft from the house. ☹
Nice video. Tuff shed's are a challenge to move and there's not a lot of great info out there. Thank you for sharing
Thank you. You’re right, not much out there talking about the steel frames . Thanks for watching and commenting.
Nice Teamwork !!💪
No idea…. That’s why I asked…. I’m a retired GC…. Never bought anything in a kit… curious about the retail cost with installation…
Everyone has their own ways but after I square a piece of plywood I nail from the center out when it comes pre bowed like that so that when it is done it will lay the most flat . I am also used to working by myself because no one likes me so there is that.
That’s a great idea. Makes a lot of sense to nail it that way and avoid the bow.
I would like to see you do a greenhouse same size and location.
That would be awesome. We have a few greenhouse builds on our channel you can check out.
Setting walls against fence.
You can’t build a shed that is within six feet of the fence.
Every city and county have different guidelines on that.
This whole door looks so terri ble! Ha te it....Rookies
It’s a great door for a backyard storage shed. We’re far from rookies as we’ve built thousands of sheds and garages. We do appreciate your comment and input.
@stormorsheds2970 everything else looked pretty good....
Thank you!
3-16d go in 2"x6" when connecting rafters and joists, minimum...5 when toe nailing, I suggest hangers.
Gone with the wind. Shouldn't be floating like that. Instead I would lay it down on anchor brackets.
Yup!!! Professionals installing. Um, how much does a NEW EYEBALL COST???
Let me guess…$2,000????
How much should it be?
And then the rain ROTS THE SIDE OF YOUR HOUSE!!! How stupid is THAT!!
And NO SAFETY GLASSES!!!!! WOW
Perfect place for skunks and rats to MOVE RIGHT IN!!! WOW, how long before that floor ROTS??? Oh, don’t tell the dumb customer….. they’ll find out three years later! WOW…. Won’t they love you!!
We welcome all opinions :).
a shed is a mini house.
All that work for a 8x10...usless
It turned out great!
What was the reasoning behind mounting the door outside of the door frame?
It’s a shed style door. We have other door options as well.
@@stormorsheds2970 You framed the door opening too small. Been there.
The door opening was framed correct.
It’s going to leak.
How do you figure?
No safety glasses with the nailer!! Never fly under code enforcement
A traditional Lean-To is a roof and no more than 2 walls. This is a shed that looks like a Lean-To. Not to mention it was placed against the house. Water damage? That ain't right!!
Water damage has never been an issue on this design. Rain water doesn’t get trapped behind it. There is space between the shed and the house. It will be able to flow down the wall onto the gravel below.
@stormorsheds2970 thanks for the clarification. As someone that designs and draws house plans and more, that did surprise me.
You bet! Appreciate the comment and you watching the video.
What's the total cost of this?
I don’t have exact pricing off hand on this one but let me get that info for you tomorrow.
Sounds good. Thank you
If you believe the customer is always right, you should work at McDonald's.
What does that mean?
@@stormorsheds2970I doubt that you explained to the home owner that the dap caulk warranty won't cover the side of their house rotting away. A "friend" would have convinced them to build somewhere else in the yard
We’ve been building this design for 40 plus years. There won’t be rotting issues. Also, not sure what you mean by “dap caulk”.
@@stormorsheds2970 Dap is a brand, Mr. "40 Years". Here's some friendly advice; If your mechanic never heard of Craftsman, don't let him work on your truck.
We appreciate all comments and opinions, even the, not so nice ones. Thanks for watching the video, we hope you enjoyed it.
Muy Bien...
En cuanto sale una igual $$$
Interesting to see building code differences across the US. Here in northeast NC we are required to attach the building to the ground and hurricane clips for the rafters/trusses. I also have to carry wind insurance as we get 140 mph winds regularly enough. My neighbor got a trampoline and the first thing I asked him is if he planned to attach it to the ground. I didn't want his trampoline in my pool.
Around here typically if it’s under 200’sq ft. permits and tie downs aren’t required.
I like it 👌 😊
Thank you!
great work
Thank you!
it would of looked better with siding but ita a nice shed
Ya, a horizontal siding would have been nice.
Cool shed
Thank you!

This is beginners work, esp in the days of TH-cam….such snotty work
It turned out great!
The base wasn’t compacted? Sliding blocks under base like this will cause the soil to compact and the floor will sag…
Glad to see you have a lefty on board the crew. LOL
Niceeeee
