I had trouble figuring out your terminology for double and treble. So, my first center by your written instructions for 15 trebles was too big. I started over translating it in my mind do double, and it came our fine. However, didn't cut the thread after the 3d row on the pedals. I simply slip stitched to the bottom and started the next pedal. Quicker, and less ends to weave in. BTW I'm making them lapels size by using crochet thread, so they come out at two inches. Just right for my project. Thanks for sharing your pattern. It's the closest to what I needed.

This maneuver could also be performed with a small crochet hook. Enjoyed learning this trick!

I prefer this heel with the double stitches on every begin of each row. You never have gaps you have to ,,repair,, like you dit.
