My late friend Peter Croll, violin maker and fiddler, playing his own composition. He did not have a name for it, so I gave it a title that I think describes it. In addition to its rambling nature, it is quirky and unorthodox, with an ingenious symmetry.

It was difficult deciding how to categorise these tunes - he plays them with the feel and tempo of reels, but they are structured more like hornpipes in my opinion. I opted to call them hornpipes, but I play them, as he did, more like reels.
