Gin is such an interesting protagonist. He doesn't have multiple personalities. He tends to have a generally sarcastic and lax attitude most of the time. Think of him like a war vet with PTSD who uses humor as a coping mechanism. He's already had his great "shonen adventure", it didn't work out well, and now he's just trying to live a normal life. He gets openly worked up over silly things but has learned to keep the things that actually hurt him to himself. Making him show that emotion means you've pissed him off enough that all that repressed pain is boiling over. Funnily enough, this doesn't always help Gintoki actually win the fight.

After all this time I finally managed to explain king Crimson in a single sentence ability 1 is seeing 10 sec in the future, ability 2 is 10 seconds of being immune to fate and as a bonus only Diavolo remember’s those 10 seconds I did it guys I’m actually super proud of myself, the only problem is it gets a little confusing since we don’t know if he is intangible during these 10 sec or why everything seams slo mo, my theory is since KC is created with the intent of escaping fate those 10 seconds of fate immunity are adaptable as in if he uses it to escape drowning he’ll probably not require air for those 10 sec, If being attacked by bullets those 10 will be in slow mo from his perspective so he can dodge them, If he gets burnt to death it’s 10 sec of fire immunity etc, the reason it looked as if the bullets just went through him in his fight with risotto is cause him and doppio were mentally unstable at the time and could barely react to something out of the blue, so his ability made him intangible instead of making him perceive things in slo mo similar to how I theorize it would if he used KC to stop himself from getting crushed, I think this cause bullets in those ten sec are super slow if it’s 10 sec in real time wouldn’t it be like multiple minutes from diavolos perspective but we see from his perspective that it’s not, he dodges a bullet and the ability ends there’s no way any bullet would take 10 whole seconds to reach you then there are times when we see it from someone else’s perspective and it’s just 10 normal seconds skipped suggest those 10 seconds are inconsistent.

My favorite arc is 4 devas. The way the plot progresses in that arc is something i’ve never seen and its genius to me. The jokes hit the seriousness hit. Also from early on Gintama I always wondered what was up between Gintoki and Otose, so it was satisfying to get those awnsers in the best way possible, imo ofcourse.
