Number of students has gone down. Has to be exceptional to draw chdren n from other areas. There isn't enough children in the village due to the holiday home crisis. I suspect your school will eventually close if it doesn't improve.

my grandaughter attends this school,it is wonderfull to know that she is being taught good christian values.we could do with more schools like this one.

You know, God has given us His Word (the Bible) as a lamp to our feet, so that none of us need walk in darkness, so that we can know Him and have eternal life, so that when disasters come we can have confidence that they are from Him, that nothing happens without His say so, He is sovereign you see, in full control of everything He has created. And the recent floods remind us of the vanity of trusting in the comforts of this world, of putting our hope in material things, of keeping our minds fixed on earthly pleasures. The floods here in Cumbria are a good opportunity to show kindness, to show Christian love to those around us, but the greatest act of love we can show people is to preach the Gospel that can save them from a fate worse than the Cumbrian floods. This recent disaster is a reminder of the wrath to come, a reminder that God is holy and will not overlook sin, a reminder that there is a day of reckoning, that God has appointed a day on which He will judge this world and everyone in it. This is how we should show love to those we profess to care about, by warning them to flee from the wrath to come. What the "bishop" fails to do in this message is make clear that anyone who has, or desires to have, their relationship restored with God must repent (turn from sin) and fully trust in the cross of Jesus Christ alone. This means that they give up all thoughts of self righteousness, stop clinging to the delusion that they have some goodness apart from Christ, forsake the notion that their good deeds and righteous acts, like church attendance, baptism or feeding the homeless can help them when they stand before Almighty God. Think about this, every filthy though, every unkind word and every wicked act, that you have perpetrated throughout your life is on display before the holy, righteous God who hates sin. The same God who is angry with the wicked every single day Psalm 7:11 You see, the Gospel is the very power of God to save His people, so let us reach out to those affected in Cumbria with not just kind acts that make us feel good but with words also, words that can save them from a fate worse than flooded properties. Romans 10:14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?
