It's only as good as it's worst part the key pads sucks and now doesn't work on one #2 button is out I should've gotten it fixed sooner $300 out of warranty.

I am a little concerned about the tuff torq 450. I have heard mechanics tell me to stay away from them. Otherwise, I would buy this model. I am used to Hydro Gear transmission on my Gravely. We had an early spartan with the Parker transmission and loved it. I just don't have the money for the rz hd. RZ PRO is within my price range.

I have a 2018 RZ-PRO and love it. Only issue I have had is Keypad gone out twice. I do not wash mower with water for any reason. I use a battery operated jobsite blower to clean deck. I park it inside when not in use.

Recently purchased the RZ-54, got around 15 hours on it. Highly recommend the optional Tec Pacs suspension kit for the standard seat and the deck height pedal extender if you are close to 6' or over. Also I got the Briggs 2500 CXI 25 hp over the Kawasaki FR691 23 hp because the dealership had 3 left, 2 with the Briggs and 1 with the Kawasaki. He sold the Kaw before I got there, so it was take it or leave it with the Briggs. To be honest I like this engine better, plenty of power but just for the fact on how clean the air filter stays compared to the single stage filter of the Kawasaki.

Failed to mention the keyless ignition and you must remember a code to start it. I bought the 54” Pro today with the option of the key ignition. The dealer mentioned that the keyless start was not a huge issue but can be problematic if not operated properly. Ask your dealer about the dependability of the keyless ignition

SRT XD…… This mower is the Truth!!! Had it for four years now, not one issue. It still rides and cuts like it did the day I bought it. 38.5 horse Kawasaki has been a beast in some tall, thick grass , never boggs down. I have friends that own Exmark, Toro, and Ferris, they all love my Spartan!!!

the hydraulic right angle fittings on the cylinders should be on the outside or protected or on the back. yes? no ? maybe so???
