WOW NICE CONCEPT
Dr Ghosh, still looks the same, the voice over was such a dissapointment, would have loved to hear his energetic voice once again.
Irony is, we have this kind of rich content available for us free of cost on internet but we(almost everyone) is interested in social media shit. Thanks to IITK and Professor for great video. I'll try to finish full course as it might help me in future.
So we know that CLtrim is 0.431 and not 0.657, all other calculations related to CM0 go wrong in this case, I mean the value of tail setting angle comes out to be 0.085 degrees, which is absurd and not possible to calibrate on high flying UAVs physically. The point of explaining this is that in your NPTEL Certification exam you ask same questions. Every answer or calculated value depends on previously calculated value, and if professors can make such mistakes then the exam is doomed at the end. Everyone is then prone to lose marks if calculation of a certain parameter at the start goes wrong.
excellent job
I need to know,.lift distribution between lateral and dihadral wing.
I prefer, aerofoil weight, balance lift thrust and drag proportion.
Sir I'm first year civil engineering student, am i eligible for this?(2024) If anyone knows about it can you pls help me with it bcoz tomorrow is the last date of application 🙂
What does S stands for in lift formula
Surface area of the wing
AIRCRAFT---DESIGN...A MUST INTENDED CAREER For The NEXTGEN.......
Any reference book to be followed sir Kindly mention those books Thanks in advance
very good sir
Prof,I think the statement ''Weight decreases when t/c is halved ''is wrong .If inverse relation ship is to hold the wing weight should increase when t/c is halved
It should increase
when t/c is halved, thickness is reduced keeping chord length constant, so it requires less material. Therefore, weight decreases
@@praneethvarma9189 In the book that he is referring (Aircraft Design by Raymer), it says that the wing weight increases by reducing the t/c. I think author is wrong too. Your explanation seems correct. According to the inverse relation it should increase but that shouldn't be the case.
20:06 its 1800 s
Sir, with due respect “Row” character is defined as altitude at which air craft is cruising. But in lecture at 11:19 min, you have described it as density. I mean … you are saying speed is inversely proportional to density, where as “row” character is defined as cruising altitude Please clear my confusion once.
row is density at certain altitude
Row❌ Rho✅ Rho= density of air
Sir i am in 2nd year mechanical engineering Is I am eligible fr this course?
Excellent course. Any one interested in course discussion on application ?
28:02 correction, wing loading is high for fighter aircraft for lesser drag, easy to roll with small area
Thanks to the teachers of IIT for imparting us knowledge free of cost
Cl trim should be 0.431 and not 0.657
at 25:15 how is the value of W7/W0=0.635?
Happy new year!
'Our country' is ?
Respected Sir, I am Dhammike Edirisinghe, Ex Sri Lankan Air Force Pilot. Thank you very much for educating us about our most Dreaming field of Air Craft Designing. I am self studying Aircraft Designing in hard way and your this programme is most help full for me. I have conceptual designed an small Ultra Light Aircraft and now slowly doing preliminary designing and detailed designing (Nut and Bolt) by building quarter scale model just for me to get confident about detailed designing and to also improve my hands on experience . If every thing fine I will build it. For every thing of doing this, your this invaluable effort was most helpful for me. Thank you very much sir.

thanks very much , 10 times subscribed
I'm studying aeronautical engineering from South Africa
I aldready saw this video during on NPTL exams
You are the best
Thank you sir
Thank you sir
