The Intercessor's Burden
Romans 9:2-3 "I have great sorrow and continual grief in my heart. 3 For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my countrymen according to the flesh..." What produced such a heart felt agony in intercession for the Jewish people?

The Conquest
มุมมอง 12หลายเดือนก่อน
From Romans 8:35-39 Paul's most poetic and passionate song of praise. And yet it was not mere romance and contains no literary drama. Paul relates the true experiences of the battlefield of life and exults, in the middle of it, in the conquest!
Silencing the Voices
มุมมอง 162 หลายเดือนก่อน
We learn to live with it. We are surrounded by voices of accusation and condemnation. Our responses to them bring us under the influence of our accusers. Satan is called the accuser of the Brethren. This is his strategy for control. They come at us with moral measurements and a request that we justify ourselves before them. But one day these voices will be silenced. Romans 8:33-34
He Spared Not or With Him

Romans 8:32 may be one of the greatest verses of encouragement in the Bible. It testifies to the great price and the great purchase of our salvation. It promises the 'also' provisions of life that flow from the riches of Christ.

Heavenly Father, we thank You and praise You for Your unending mercy and grace poured out upon our nation. You have delivered us in times of war, reunited us after conflicts, and filled our lives with abundance. Your blessings overflow. All things work together for good? Is that true? In what way can it be said that 'all things work together for good?" Romans 8:28
Always a clear and concise word to share the gospel with those yet unsaved. Thank you Pastor Van Hoogen. (Oh how you remind me of your precious father. Can’t wait to visit with him in heaven)!!!
I want this whole message please!!
Is this a reformed church? what denomination or theology do you go by
We use the 1960's doctrinal statement of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. We are non-denominational. We consider ourselves of the Reformed tradition reflected in the 5 solas and would add the reformation declaration of the priesthood of all believers.
I’d like to know more about this church. I don’t see a website. Do you live stream your services anywhere? What times are the in person services ?
We do not live stream services. Our worship starts every Sunday at 11 am. You may learn more about Bread of Life Boise @ breadoflifeboise.org/

Another fine message! In 1975, when our son was born, we were discussing a proper name, your Dad said "How about a good Biblical name? What about Zerubbabel?" Naturally, he was joking with us, but in retrospect, that's a pretty cool name, could have called him Zeb! Keep preaching Brother, your Ministry is valued by me (at least) and blessed by God!
Really appreciate this message.
Keep posting your sermons my Brother, there is at least one guy who benefits from them.
Amen!
Powerful sermon! Thank you for speaking undeniable Truth.
