its been a while since i posted a tutorial so i just wanted to drop this on in here. stretched braid outs have been keeping me in a chokehold these past few weeks, and i thought adding some perm rods would elevate the look and it definitely gave everything it needed to. sooo, if you haven't tried a braid and curl set, this is your sign 💭💗

I love the technique of applying the mousse/product bit by bit. I will be trying that because it will really reduce the shrinkage and knots as I'm styling it on blow dried hair. Thanks for sharing!

Love it! Would you be able to do a video showing how you preserve it at night? I know on your IG you mentioned that in order to stretch the style, you rebraid it - do you do it in bigger braids or basically just redo the same 12 braids with the perm rods at the end?
if i’m rebraiding i would just plait it in the same 12 braids and add in the rods again. but for this set i didnt need to rebraid, suprisingly, it held up for the week. but all i do is put my hair is a very loose ponytail at night w/ a satin scrunchie and put a scarf over it

good question! i didnt need to this washday, i didnt wear my curls for the week, i had my hair blowdried so it was pretty much already “detangled” 😇

Loved the video! I love how you took us along with you to the beauty supply store & Sephora!! lol! I prefer The Kure over the Soulfood & Hydro Rush masks.. it’s a perfect protein moisture balance with great slip! And my hair feels so good when rinsed out! The Hydro Rush is 2nd & Soulfood last for me.. Oh and a little pro tip.. Stay in the shower when you apply your deep conditioners! Your hair will be warm & soak in the moisture better, plus you get to sort of let the hair steam under a plastic cap while you finish your shower! And you definitely DON’T need a rinse out and a deep conditioner!! It’s a waste of time & product to use both!!

Try the Taraji P Henson conditioner or the Design essentials conditioner. I fell in love with both❤ we have the same hair but mine is a bit shorter so hope this helps!
just wanted to say that it`s totally okay to want to change careers and interests. I`m also 23, and i refused to go to college because I had a feeling that what i wanted to do wasn`t IT anymore. It`s completely normal to not like the typical office setting, and I`d recommend exploring your hobbies and excitements. If you love haircare, look into cosmetology school or so. Experiment, don`t stick with one thing your whole life because you have all the options in the world. Just do what feels right and you`ll see how things simply settle into place
