this is my first real project besides some bracelets and it took me about 3 days all together but it came out great as a gift for my girlfriend. the only thing I really had an issue w was getting the middle of the v on the bag to connect right
So glad to hear that. Its a nice transition piece to more difficult projects. It feels nice to be DONE
Soo, I need to use a new skeins of yarn, how do you attached the new skeins? Thank youu for the tutorial
Start a stitch with your current yarn and finish it with the new yarn
@MrsStewartCC thank youu!
Thank you for this! You helped me finish my first project that wasn’t a scarf. I am so excited.
That’s amazing! So fun to see people making these bags.
i keep losing stitches on the way it got thinnerr😭
Its a bit tricky. Important to keep counting. You can do this!
the thing with this stitch is that it is hard, but once you get it, you get it. after about 30m of practice i got about 1inch in 3m
Omg your video was awesome I did my purse exactly like yours. Great instructions. I’m a subscriber now ❤
I had to subscribe after finishing this bag. Each square took me about 1.5 hours each but I'm not a fast crocheter. I'm not super fond of my strap but it'll do.
@@upperroomprints i have another video on how to make a stronger strap if you are interested
Merhabalar şimdi kahvaltı için hazırladım, gerçekten hiç yormuyor ve ekonomik bir poğaça tarifi. Merakla bekliyorum. Tadına bakınca tekrar yorum yaparım. Tarif için teşekkür ederim ❤
loved this!! this was the first time I made something other than a coaster and it was super easy to follow, thank you!!
Its so fun. And portable. People are amazed too
How many grams of yarn did you use?
200 ish
Thanks so much! It was the first time doing this stitch and did it really well thanks to your great instructions. ❤
Please help, mine doesn't form a ball what could be the problem? It's flat all the way have 12 rows now
@@nwabisacamba2587 did you keep increasing? When you stop increasing it should turn into a bowl shape. I think at row 9
Thank you so much love for responding, I got it❤
I would like to try this for my nieces! How much yarn did you used aprox and what fabric would you recommend? Thanks in advance!
Hi I used a caron cake which was about 400 yards. I had some left over too
This is the easiest, thank you so much ❤
Hello, I saw your tutorial for a thermal strap, can I do this for this bag? thank you
Love this! I'm thinking about using this pattern for Christmas presents ❤️
If I choose to not use the magic circle do I still make 9 rounds or should I do less?
@@lissetteguzman1235 should be the same.
Brilliant thanks so much. New stitch to me, I have just crochet a bag and it sits waiting for straps. Was going to buy but this looks easy enough.
This was AWESOME!! Thanks for your patience and calm way of explaining ❤
Oh my. I have that book and have looked at it a hundred times and always tell myself NO because I would have to seem them together, but I did pick a few of the prettiest ones and made in baby colors and baby size that turned out lovely
I love the concept of a stitch per block. I am going to go ahead and do them all. Might take a year lol
I found this to be a very challenging project, and I could never get it to lie flat. Perhaps it will once I try blocking the two squares that I have made so far. Then, I am trying to figure out how I can join as you go, (JAYG) method, but not having success with that either.
Hmm i am not sure why that is. How is your tension....I am not great at JAYG. I find it too fiddly. On my list of things to learn
Beautiful bag and great tutorial ❤ I actually SC my strap to the bag at both ends. Makes it stronger. I also put 2 sc into each end stitch on the ends of the strap also to make it stronger!
Wonderful!
What are the measurements in inches or cm for one granny square?
@@ummehanisoni257 about 12x12
This is a year ago tutorial but I made it today!! I’m in love with my new bag! Thanks!!
Thank you so much..I will give it a try...you do amazing job...
I've been makeing market bags. So.happy to have found ur video. I'm hopeing this will be good for my large bags!!
❤❤❤
I’ve had my eye on C2C for awhile but have been anxious on trying to learn it because I’m still SUPER new to crocheting. This has me confident that I could do it tho!!
Love this! Thanks so much for sharing! I will definitely try it SOON!
This was definitely a trust the process stitch for me! I was ready to start over after row 3 but said just keep going you can start over later 😅 now it makes sense! Thank you so much for your explanation!!
Love this thank you, I'm going to try a 4th square to make a flap/closed bag with button to close. Not sure how the structure will hold up, if not il stick to the 3. About to start sewing! Great tutorial ❤
Thinking of doing the same thing….just wondering how it turned out for you?
So beautifully explained ❤ Thank you 🙏
Look easy to crochet and beautiful ❤
I want to thank you so very much for explaining this in such a simple way that even my teenager would be able to get it and the reason why I say this is because I'm really dyslexic and it's really hard for me to follow the traditional explanation of how to crochet when it comes to patterns and stuff so I need it to be extra simple and you manage to do that for somebody like me in a big thank you❤
Thank you so much, this vid is very much helpful especially as a beginner... God bless... Plsss make moree viddsss
Thank you so much for this pattern. Its the first bag I ever made and it turned out very nice! Took me only 3 days❤
My granny square bag needed a non- stretchy strap. Lucky to have come across this video. Thanks a lot 🙏 I noticed the tightening of the turning chain gives a neater edge on the sides. Everyday I learn something new in crochet! Happy crocheting :)
what yarn r u using? is it wool?
@@mindfulmemories5064 no acrylic. Caron cakes cinnamon swirl
Please can I have the dimensions for the bag? Thanks.
Mmm each square is 12x12 or so
Its about 17 inches wide. Sorry I had to math

Is there a way that I can do this stitch so that I can attach it to a D ring. If you know please help. I have to make a handle for a little bag I made, and I need to have it done my October 19. Thanks.
@@CanadianRose you could start the first row around the ring....
@@MrsStewartCC That's actually what I am attempting to try to do. When you join the first part, I put the ring in there and joined over the ring. Will see how it goes. I only made a chain of 5 because of the ring size.
@@CanadianRose let me know how it goes. I want to try but i dont have any rings on hand
